Bucket List #379 : Before I die, I want to have the balls to ask a random guy out.
"Thats a dumb thing to do." Vincent said as I read out the thing I wanted to cross off next. I hit him, "Everyone needs confidence! This is just a great thing cause I get confidence and a date with a cute guy!"
"Still dumb, Danielle."
I looked at him, "You jealous?"
I saw a quick blush creep on his face before he stuttered, "Me? Jealous? Ha?"
"Its okay, Vincent, you'll always be my number one." I winked at him and started walking, leaving the flustered boy behind.

I looked around and searched for my date. I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I turned around to see a red faced Vincent, "You need to chill out with your fast walking."
"Oh, I wasn't even walking that fast. Anyways, help me! Let's find a cute boy."
"Danielle..." He quietly said.
"Are you thinking about complaining? Because I wouldn't if I was you."
He gritted his teeth, "Oh never."
"What about him?" Vincent said, pointing out a boy. I looked over at the direction that he was pointing at. My smile soon turned into a frown, "Vincent... That boy is ten..."
"But... he's cute and all that."
I suddenly got a headache and my vision started blurring. I tried to blink it away but it wouldn't leave. I could hear Vincent laughing and saying something, but it was all muffled.
"Dan...you....Daniel...hear....DANIELLE." I could barely hear anything but Icould finally make out a few things. I looked over at him.. or where his voice lead me to, "Vinny..I..."
And thats when I threw up... all over Vincent's shoes.. And his pants. I felt my hair being pulled up. I let it all out because what the hell could I do.. It was already coming out.
I was finally done letting out what I could and a blush crept on my face. I just threw up in front of everyone and all over Vincent. I hesitated getting up, dreading the faces of all the people looking at me and the face of Vincent.. I just threw up on the poor kid. I got up anyways, because I couldn't stay bent over forever.
I wiped my mouth as I got up. I closed my mouth, faking a smile as I looked at Vincent. His mouth still open in shock as he looked down to his pants and his shoes and back up at me, "Are you okay?"
I chuckled, "Are YOU?"
He smiled at me, "I'm perfectly.. perfect. But... I don't think everyone else is."
I looked around at all the people staring at us. I blushed again and waved at everyone staring at us, "SORRY!"
Vincent laughed, "Let's get you home... But mostly me.. Cause this vomit is starting to sink in and i'm starting to feel it... And smell it."
I laughed, dropping my head in the process, "I am sooo sorry."
Vincent ruffled my hair, "Its okay, sweetheart.. I'll call a cab and get you out of here."
"Thanks."
Vincent pulled out his phone and dialed the cab company while I moved us away from the vomit that had started to smell. As we walked, a flash of strawberry blonde hair passed by. My heart raced as I hoped that it was Rachel and somehow hoped that it wasn't. I watched as Rachel/this random girl's hair blew in the wind.
"Danielle?" Vincent said, his voice sounding distant. I looked around for him, as I snapped out of my daze. He stood a few feet in front of me. I must have stopped walking when I saw the girl. I ran to catch up with Vincent, "Sorry.. I got side-tracked."
He smiled, "It's totally fine. The cab is here."
My shoulders slumped as I realized that I would be leaving the girl with the same hair as my best friend.
----
I heard knocking on my door and I yawned as I got up to get it. Vincent stood at the door, pj's hugging his body... in all the right places. I shook my head, shaking the thought out of my mind.
"You..." Vincent started to say, pointing at me
"Me..." I said, pointing at myself
"Me..." He pointed at himself
"You..." I pointed to him
"Movie... right now." He smiled as he finished.
I smiled at him, "Movie?"
He opened his mouth in shock, "DID YOU JUST ASK ME OUT?"
I looked at him, bewilderment spreading across my face.
"Now you can cross it off your bucket list."
"You are not a random guy, though."
"I was just a few days ago, therefore, you just asked me out."
I smiled at him, "You are silly."
"And YOU... have a date with me." He said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and pulling me towards the living room.
