I showed Vincent the tweet that I saw and a smile grew on his face, "I've always wanted to do something like this."
"Same, and now I have a reason to and someone to do it with."
Now before you get the wrong idea... The tweet said, "Before I die, I want to.." And it listed something. I clicked on the twitter profile and I was soon reading almost all of them with Vincent.
"Are you positive?"
"I am sooo positive! And I even thought of a cool idea. We do a new one each day and then I retweet it on twitter once i'm done!"
"That sounds amazing! I'd love to be part of this!"
"Great, what time do you get out of school?"
"I'm not in school right now." He said, his voice getting quiet.
"And why is that?"
"Why did you run away from home?" He shot back. I know he was being serious but I laughed anyways, "Touche."
He laughed, "So, you just met me today and you're already hooking me into your plans."
I hit his shoulder, "You just met me today and you've already cooked for me and let me shower in your bathroom."
He rubbed his shoulder where I hit him, "Touche."
I smiled at him, "So let's get started!"
"Today?"
"YES! The day is young, baby boy. Let's pick one out and get on the road!" I said, getting up from the couch. Vincent groaned, "Ugh, fine. And don't call me baby boy."
"What can I call you, baby boy?"
"Hmm, I don't know? Maybe my name?"
"Alright, Vincenzo, let's go." I said, smirking as I held my hand out towards him. He glared at me before taking my hand.
"Which one should we do first?" I asked Vincent, as we walked through the cold New Hampshire air. I scrolled through the twitter profile, checking out which easy one we could start out with.
"An easy one, right?" Vincent asked, looking at me. I nodded and he grabbed my phone, clicked on one and then showed it to me, "What about this one? Its easy and sweet."
I smiled, "Lets do it."
Bucket List #746 : Before I die, I want to buy flowers for someone for no reason at all.
"Can I get three arrangments?" I asked the florist, feeling generous. The florist went quick to work on the flowers.
"THREE?" Vincent asked, his hazel eyes popping out. I nodded, "Why make one persons day when you can do more?"
He put his arm around me, pulling me close, "Well, aren't you sweet!"
I beamed.
With the three arangements in my hand, I made my way with Vincent around the street, searching for people to give it to.
"How about that lady over there?" Vincent said, pointing to some under-dressed woman. I turned to glare at him, "You. Are. A. Pig."
He laughed, "Okay, okay. What about her?"
He pointed to some lady being dragged by her little daughter. A cellphone in her hand and a crisp suit hugging her body.
I nodded and we made our way over to her. I bent down in front of the little girl, "Give this to mommy."
She nodded and took the flowers that I was handing her and turned and gave them to her mother. Her mother, who watched and probably heard me, took the flowers and looked at us, shocked, "What's this for?"
"For a smile." Vincent said, before grabbing my arm and making me run away from the mother and daughter.
"That... felt amazing." I said, looking into Vincent's eyes. He smiled down at me, "Let's go do some more."
_
After giving flowers to an old lady and some guy with his baby, Vincent and I sat down on a nearby bench.
"What do you want to do now?" Vincent asked, his breath showing in the cold air.
I smiled, "Lets go cross off more things of this bucket list."
