"Bucket List #648 : Before I die, I want to go a whole day of saying yes to everything."

"So, you're Danielle?" Vincent asked me. I wiped away the tear that didn't need to be there. I knew this was going to happen again. The whole Vinny not remembering me(or anything, for that matter). I nodded my head as I realized I never gave him an answer. It wasn't as bad as the first time it had happened when I was here. He didn't have a frying pan in his hand, thank god. I couldn't handle another bruise.

"Do you remember me, Vin?" I asked, my voice trembeling. He smiled at me, "Yeah. You're that girl that I went and gave those flowers away with. You're staying at my house, right?"

I nodded but my heart shattered knowing that the last memory he had of me was that day, even though it was 3 or 4 days ago.

Vincent noticed the frown on my face, "I know you way more than that, don't I?"

I looked down as I nodded my head, "Yeah." I said so quietly, I almost didn't hear myself. His cold hands suddenly connected with my chin, bringing my face up. I looked into his eyes, swimming in the hazel that  met with my own brown eyes.

"I'm sorry." He said, not quite knowing what to say. I just stared at him, his hands still wrapped around the bottom of my face. He smiled, "Do you forgive me, Danielle?"

I smiled back at him, "Of course."

"Perfect. I couldn't handle a perfect face like yours frowning and being mad at me all day."

I blushed, "I wasn't mad. I'll never be mad at you, Vinny."

He pulled me into a hug, "Thank god."

I started coughing, something I did when I was nervous. He pulled away, "You okay?"

"You're never this affectionate... I'm not even this affectionate."

He smiled, "Well, that should change? Right?"

I nodded, my smile growing.

"So what's on the agenda for today?" He asked. As soon as he finished, almost like on cue, my phone started ringing.

"And I don't get waves of missing you anymore, they're more like tsunami tides in my eyes."

I pulled my phone out of my pj pants and looked at the screen, Sammy Whammy<3. Oh great. I could ignore this phone call... But you see... I had already picked out what my bucket list item was going to be. And I needed to say yes to everything. Just by declining this call, it'd be like saying no. Which was I was trying to avoid. I cursed under my breath and pressed accept, shooting Vincent an apologetic look. He smiled and mouthed, "Its okay"

"Hellooo.," I said, trying to act noncholant. I heard Sam breath out on the other line, "Daniella..."

"Samuel..."

"Listen... don't.... hang up on me... please." He said, struggling to say what he had to say fast.

"I won't... If you give me a good reason not to."

I heard him laugh on the other side, "Same old Daniella."

I smiled, feeling old memories rush back, "Same old Sammy boy."

He sighed, "I miss you, Danielle. So much. Its killing me not having you here."

His words hit me. I wasn't expecting the words of kindness that he was spewing out. I swallowed the lump in my throat, "I miss you too, Sam. But things aren't the same. Atleast not how they used to be."

"I want to see you... If that's not too much to ask." He said, after a moment of silence.

"I..." I almost said I can't. But I couldn't exactly do that... Cause of the stupid bucket list shit. I made a promise to slap myself later for that.

I sighed, "Fine. But I swear to god, if you tell my mother, i'll personally shoot you."

He sighed also, "Thank you, Dani. Thank you."

"Will Ty and Rach be there too?" I quietly asked.

"They can if you want them to!"

"That'd be nice."

I heard him smile, "Yeah.. just like old times, babe."

"Just like old times." I repeated.
