Daenerys walked, surrounded by guards, to the tower's way out. People were massed outside, ready for an execution : Wanheda's execution. But Daenerys wasn't going to let that happen. Ever. She walked out and people who recognised her as the Commander bowed on one knee respectfully. Silence fell over the crowd.

She stood on the stage where guards made sure no harm came to her.

"You have all come for an execution. But no one else will die today. In this time of crisis, the Commanders have chosen me, Daenerys Fleim Nou Daun, Keryon kom Heda to lead you all, my people. I will respect the Coalition, Lexa's coalition, including the 13th Clan. Some deserve death, but not all of them. I hereby pardon all crimes committed under the influence of Alie. However, Thelonious Jaha of the Sky people will be subject to a kill order starting tomorrow at Dawn." She took a deep breath and looked over at the people in front of her. Her people.
"I am aware of your grief and I feel it too. But I did not destroy the city of Light so that we could all go back to kill each other. There will be no attack tolerated between Clans. We need to forgive. Others, but also ourselves." Her eyes met Bellamy's who had been looking at her the whole time, full of admiration and love.

"Heda! Heda! Heda!..." people cheered. Not everyone agreed, certainly not Azgeda. But the orders were clear. She walked down from the stage and back towards the tower. How she wished she could walk to Bellamy, but she had a duty and it came before her personal wishes. She walked in the tower, to her bedroom, pacing. She felt nervous, yet soothed by the thought of Bellamy. She couldn't let him go. To rule isn't to be alone, but he had to help Skaikru find a solution for the human race, therefore go back to Arkadia. She turned to the door opening, expecting a soldier but her eyes softened at the sight of Bellamy.

"Bell! You're leaving?" She asked, bottling up her feelings as best as she could. He nodded, but walked to her.

"I know that you can take care of yourself, but I hate leaving you here." He told her and Daenerys brought her hands to his face.

"I'll be ok and so will you. We'll meet very soon, with a solution to save us all."

"You never lose hope." He said admiring her.

"Not when we're still alive."

"Still a lot can happen in a short amount of time these days." He said half concerned, half wearing a unreadable expression. He began to let a smile appear and taking a small step back, bent on one knee. "Daenerys Fleim Nou Daun, Keryon kom Heda, will you make me the happiest man on earth and become my wife?" She brought her hand to her mouth and looked at him in shock.

"Bell....I...I-yes! Yes, of course!" He stood back up and held her in his arms, spinning her around. They remained in the embrace for a while and looked at each other. "I love you. I do, I always have and always will. For better and for worse. Never, never will I let you make hard choices alone."

"Daenerys. You're my life, and I'll care for you until I die."

"I'll never let you die." She cuts softly and they hold hands, walking to the balcony.

"Neither will I let you die. I'll come back as soon as I can with a solution to save us all. Stay safe until then, ok? Don't start sacrificing yourself for others."

"Yes, sir." She said a slight grin on her face. "Now go, make sure everyone can live."

He nodded and with a last kiss, he left the tower, leaving Daenerys to rule. She was born to be Commander, now was the time to prove it.

Daenerys asked for King Roan to come, and waited for guards to lead him in. When they finally did shrugs stood and with a small gesture dismissed the guards. Roan lifted his eyebrow and Daenerys sighed.

"I'm so sorry about you being shot and Ontari dying."

"You're better than Ontari anyways." He muttered. He hates admitting this but Daenerys smiled at his concession. However,  her smile faded and she walked to him.

"Roan, these are extremely dark times. We're on the brink of a war and the threat comes from your people. I need you to stand by me."

"My people will never throw you over."

Daenerys knew this was true and she didn't fear so much for herself as she did for Skaikru, especially for Bellamy. "I know, but any attack against Skaikru is an attack against us all."

"I know. They all want to eradicate Skaikru, but I won't let them."

"I trust you. I know you'll do the right thing. Do you have guards you can always fully trust to protect you?" She asked and he nodded a slight smirk appearing on his face.

"You have very strong friends who believe that the key to protect Skaikru is to protect me. I'm loyal to you."

"Octavia." Daenerys guessed. "She's come so far after what she's been through. Well you're in good hands. Now I have to figure out a way to bring back peace in Polis. Thank you for your loyalty." He nodded and walked out. Daenerys wasn't expecting anyone but someone came in anyway. She was ready to draw her sword but sighed in relief as she saw Octavia.

"We're kind of going to be sisters." Octavia pointed out, smirking and Daenerys couldn't repress her smile.

"He told you?"

"Oh trust me he didn't have to. He had this grin on his face. I've never seen my brother like that. I'm glad." She said offering her arm to take. They locked arms and hugged.

"We've been through a lot together haven't we?"

"We sure have. We're survivors, we are part of the 100. Who would have thought back on the Ark that you, a prisoner would become the Commander of all that remained of the human race. They couldn't have had a better one."

"Thanks O. If we're sisters, there's something my sister and I and then we said it with Lexa..." Daenerys inhaled sharply at the mention of Lexa. The wound hadn't healed at all. "Sisters, always and forever."

"Always and forever. Think of this, Lexa is still with you."

"So is Lincoln." Octavia nodded and the two young women stood on the balcony, looking at the city where the sun was setting. They had been through so much, lost so many of the people they loved.....But they had taken the pain in and turned it into power.
