Cue music?

The pain was lingering in her heart and she needed Bellamy. She needed him but he wasn't here. Where was Bellamy? She felt alone. She never thought the loss of Roan would pain her that much, but it did. He had betrayed her but she still cared so much. She had felt quite similarly towards John. She loved John, even after he betrayed and shot her. She walked inside, deciding that she'd wait for the victor to enter the room, like everyone else. Bellamy still wasn't here. She sat on her throne and waited. Gaia stood by her, unable to see what was happening, because the two last champions, Octavia and Luna were out of sight.
Daenerys' mind went back to Roan. He had supported her from the beginning. Sure, he betrayed her trust and went against her orders but it was his fear of the end of the world.
No one is completely fearless. A sad smile made it's way to her lips as she remembered all those times.

"Hey, Daenerys!" The young woman turned around and saw her new friend, stripped to the waist, looking happy. She frowned, trying to repress her smile.

"Come on!" He called and she groaned before following him. She gasped as she saw the waterfall. It was beautiful. She was surprised. Roan wasn't usually one to stop and admire so she was about to turn to him when she felt someone pull her hard. Before she could react, she felt herself falling.

"Nooo!" She laughed, before her voice was engulfed by the water. She struggled to swim a little so he pulled her out, both of them moving to a less deep part of the waterfall. "I'll get payback Roan!" He laughed.

"Of course you will."

The smile disappeared from her pained face. She looked around. Everyone was waiting for the Victor, the person that would either be called Osleya, Champion, or Wanlida, bringer of Death. Luna couldn't win. Octavia would find a way. She always did. But again, Roan always used to find a way. But not this time. He'd never come back this time. He was gone.

"I might die, even if I don't plan on dying. But whatever happens, don't forget what I saw the first time I saw you. You're meant to lead."...
"You're not allowed to die."....

His words echoed in her mind...

"You see, people like you are rare, as I don't like admitting it, people like Lexa kom Trikru are rare, and the clans need these kinds of people. I know you are ready to sacrifice your life for your people, and the people that you love."

"I never thought I'd find you again."
"Well I'm glad you did."

"Heda?" Daenerys was pulled out of her memories. She turned to Gaia who frowned.

"Are you ok?" Daenerys smiled, a fake smile, but good enough to fool her.

"Yes, I am. Thank you." She nodded and stood by her commander's side. What were they doing? Where were Octavia, Bellamy... Daenerys tried to ignore the worst scenarios she was imagining.
Either Skaikru lived or no one did. This was crucial. But no one was coming yet. The conclave wasn't over, or was it?

Steps echoed outside the door. All eyes slowly turned to it, Daenerys stood, eyes glued on the door. Both main doors opened, and a tired, but victorious Octavia stepped in the room, walking towards the throne. The relief Daenerys felt was so great her smile welcomed the warrior in front of her throne. They locked arms, and Daenerys congratulated Octavia.

"You did it. I'm so proud of you."

"I'm sorry about Lincoln." She said.

"And I am sorry about Illian. What matters is that you are alive."

"A warrior doesn't mourn until the war is over." They both whispered and turned to the assembly.

Their moment was short. Gaia took the sigils that Octavia had collected.

"Roan kom Azgeda, yu gonplei ste odon." Gaia announced. Octavia kom Skaikru is victorious. The crpyt of the first commander belongs to her people." Everyone bowed to it, until Octavia's voice echoed.

"No." She drew all eyes to herself. "I wasn't fighting for Skaikru today. I thought I was fighting for myself, but I now know that's not true, either. I was fighting for us all. Skaikru will not take the bunker alone. We will share it equally because we are equal. We are one clan, and we will survive Primfaya together. Ogeda." She translated and everyone repeated, chanted in a solemn way.

"Lincoln." Daenerys whispered, recognising his speech, he always considered the clans as one people. Octavia nodded and started to walk down the stairs, and as she tripped, Indra caught her.

"Lincoln would be so proud." Daenerys was so proud of her friend, she only wished Bellamy had been there to see it. Where was he? She walked down the stairs and followed by Gaia, Indra, Octavia and some guards they made their way towards the bunker. They had to organise everything.

Kane joined them. "There won't be enough room for all of us." Kane protested.

"It's unity day, Kane." A smirk made its way to both girls' faces and they went on walking.

"Where's my brother?" Octavia asked Kane who looked worried.

"What is it, Kane?" Daenerys was getting worried as well.

"I haven't seen him since the conclave." Daenerys swollowed her worries. He hadn't been caught by scouts so he had to be somewhere close by.

When they reached the temple, they were surprised to see the door sealed. What was this? Daenerys frowned and exchanged a look with Octavia. Gaia turned around, standing up from kneeling by the hatch.

"No. No. We have to keep everyone out." She pleaded towards her commander who gave her an interrogating look to which Kane answered, flabbergasted.

"It's locked." He spoke.

"Are they all dead?" Gaia asked, looked worriedly towards the guards, Octavia looked despisingly around, and Daenerys understood.

"No. They used gas like the mountain men." She replied, matching Octavia's contempt.

"How could they do this?" Kane stuttered.

"They're Skaikru." Daenerys said darkly. "They had no faith in their champion and no respect for traditions."

"Skaikru have betrayed us all." Indra summed up. This was an outrage.

"Do you think Bell is in there?" Octavia asked Daenerys who shook her head.

"If he is, it's not by choice. He would never have left you or me for that matter, to die. This is Clarke or Jaha. Or both."

"Daeny, what do we do?" She said nervously. Octavia was a warrior, a fighter, but not really a leader.

"Do you have faith in your brother?"

"I do." She nodded, understanding what Daenerys was implying. He was going to open the hatch.

Scouts came in and awaited for orders.
"We need a little time. Guard the door, don't let anyone in until I say otherwise, understood?"

They shared a look and eyed the hatch.

"Do it immediately, Pramfaya is coming, you need to help us get everyone in. It's your duty to the commanders. The scouts nodded, and left.

"We can't wait forever." Indra protested.

"He will come. I trust Bellamy." Indra nodded. Daenerys racked her brain for a solution, for another way. What if Bellamy was gone? What if this was the end?
