Fuck… Fuck! What the hell am I supposed to do now? Leave the body here st the chances of someone finding it? That's exactly what I'm going to do… That's the only thing I can do.

The guilt that ate her alive the whole way to Pop's… Though she wanted nothing more than to go she couldn't help yet to feel she made the wrong decision. That she shouldn't have come after all…

"H-Hey," Betty mumbled taking a seat across from Y/N, Veronica and surprisingly Cheryl. "What's going on?"

"Toni… She left!" Cheryl and Y/N cried at the same time.

"What?" The blonde questioned trying to act as though she was surprised and really she was surprised that Cheryl was upset… She had broken up with Toni after all.

"She texted us all that she left… That she couldn't live in this town anymore- H-How could she just do that?"

"I don't know… Guys I'm really sorry," She was whispered through a sad smile. "I wish there was something that we could do to fix this,"

"It's her choice… Wait so you didn't get a text?" Cheryl questioned whipping away her tears

"No she never had my number- I would have never known," The blonde lied through a sigh.

"Wow this is crazy," Y/N sighed never meeting their eyes. "Maybe this is for the best… I mean if she didn't want to stay here then she's not miserable anymore right?"

"It's not fair…" Cheryl cried her red lipstick smugging across her cheek. "This shouldn't have ever happened,"

"Well let's get home food… And change the topic- I'm sure everything will be ok soon," Veronica was the one who spoke up placing a comforting arm around Y/N.

Betty wanted nothing more than to shoot daggers her way, but quickly refrained from doing so knowing that no one knew about her little crush.

You're supposed to be mine… Maybe Veronica should have been the one to go- No Betty don't think that way… Toni was a one time thing. That won't ever happen again.

"Betty are you alright? You're shaking," Y/N mumbled clearly conserved.

Betty quickly shrugged it off, pitting a small smile across her lips. Her train of thought was broken as she tried hard not to think about Toni again.

"I'm just hungry I think," She shrugged never meeting their gaze. "What did you guy's order-"

"Y/N… Y/N are you alright?" Peach questioned bursting into Pop's and forcing herself into the booth beside Y/N. "I'm sorry I'm late the traffic was horrible," Everyone knew right off the bat that was a terrible lie because there was never any traffic in Riverdale.

Maybe I should have killed you Preach. Where were you? That was obviously a lie so what's more important than Y/N?

"I'm fine," She reassured as Peach grabbed her hand tightly across the table. "I have you guys and I'm just glad that she didn't lead me on anymore…"

"Yeah…" Betty agreed as their food arrived and boy was it a lot of food and they needed it. "We're happy to be here for you,"

Next thing Betty knew she was back in dealing with a dead body… And boy was it starting to stink. Toni’s skin was cold to the touch as she was paler than the blonde had ever seen her before. Though she still couldn’t bear to look at the woman she had just killed hours ago.

She hadn’t thought about how to get the body out, the only thing she had really thought about was where to put the body and how to get rid of it… This truly was harder than it looked and yet Betty was acting like this was something she did all the time.

“Why is there always something wrong in my life,” Betty mumbled struggling with Toni on her back to get up the ladder and just as she was almost there Toni fell to the floor with a thud.

This is going to take awhile.

Hours later… Well, what felt like an eternity to Betty she had finally managed to dig a hole big enough for Toni and put her in the ground.  Luckily she wasn’t that heavy. Now she just had to get the things to dissolve the body. After she left Pops she had gone to neighboring towns to get the suplies- Thankfully no one suspected a thing nor questioned her.

All Betty had left to do was walk back to the bunker and grab the bag of supplies… Should be easy enough and then once the body was covered she wouldn’t have to worry about this any longer.

So that’s what ended up happening, easy enough… Almost too easy. Easy enough for Betty to want to do it again and she didn’t want to do it again. She couldn’t do it again- She could barely get away with this still have high chances of getting caught.

Though that night at one in the morning when she returned home… It was all over. Well, at least she thought it was all over. She wishes that it could be over. Though the memories would never leave her.

The memories would haunt her forever, just like the memories of her father, or of the Jason Blossom case or even of her-

“Betty, what the hell are you doing home so late?” Her mother questioned crossing her arms over her chest.

“I was at a party… I’m sorry I thought I told you,” She lied walking past her mother and up the stairs.

“You’re grounded! Get back here young lady!” Her mother exclaimed trying to drag her back by the arm but it was no use as she couldn’t get a good hold on her.

“Mom it’s really not that big of a deal,” She tried to reassure though the look in her eyes gave it away.

“Were there drugs at this party?”

“No… Mom please just leave me alone I’m really tired,” Her daughter tried to reason and before she could say anything more Betty slammed the door in her face.

Finally, Betty was alone at last… Thankfully having no blood on her from the way that she had murdered Toni. Murdered… I hate that word. Ah, a text. Who are you texting Y/N?

After hours of reading their texts, and watching as the words gradually appeared on the screen… Their conversation was over and Betty knew everything. How Y/N wasn’t going to be home tomorrow and neither were their parents.

I’ve done it. Betty smiled to herself as she drifted off into sleep that night. She had just found the perfect time to break into her house and do the last little bit of research she needed before she could make her move.

After this everything was going to be perfect, she was going to know everything about Y/N. She would know all the right moves, all of the things needed to be learned, and everything that would be needed to form their perfect relationship.

And she knew that their relationship would be perfect after this much work. Sure she had to wait, but she could wait an eternity for Y/N she knew that much. Because you are everything.

Ever since Betty laid eyes on Y/N she knew that she was the one… And she wouldn’t stop at anything to get her. Even if that meant standing fully clothed under the hot water of the shower when really it should be the both of them enjoying this together.

“Yeah, I’m at home… Well I’m not busy but- I’m not but listen- Actually yeah… Yeah, that sounds pretty good I’ll be there in thirty,” Suddenly Y/N’s hand was back in the shower turning it off as Betty could hear her leave.

Betty could feel the weight being lifted off her shoulders as she couldn’t help yet to feel relieved. Though a ping of sadness hit her like a rock to the face. Maybe if she could have been caught things would have been different than imagined.

Though the blonde will never know. Peach had just made plans with Y/N leaving Betty there dripping wet in Y/N’s shower. She was stunned that plans could change that quickly. Peach no doubt had simply wanted to see her friend nothing wrong with that. Betty knew that she had to sparate Y/N and Peach and first that would involve finding something bad about her.

Of course, though she had been saved by Peach… That wouldn’t stop her from holding a grudge as she had taken her Y/N away from her.
