"What the hell," Betty mumbled pulling up her car to the literal nowhere.
She would have to walk the rest of the way to get to the castle retreat… Peach was so spoiled that she could spend her money on a retreat for her and her friend. Betty linked GI do that for Y/N however she simply couldn't
You deserve the world Y/N… And Peach she doesn't deserve you- I'm going to prove it.
"This sounds like something you would do Peach," Betty mumbled to herself as she stumbled upon a giant castle in which they were staying.
When Betty walked up to the front door it was surprisingly unlocked… And she was dumb enough to walk in. She really couldn't leave well enough alone. Luckily she knew that they were at the mall… She wasn't sure who would want to be secluded and then go to the mall the next day but oh well she didn't care.
The place was eerie, and musky but beautifully built it was tall and large… Gigantic. She loved it here, it was nice and elegant… She could see her and Y/N living here together.
She explored the house for what felt like hours... She looked at everything all elegantly set. The table with pretty glass wear, and then the library with a beautiful bookcase. Though that wasn’t the only thing that she noticed. The soft aroma in this place was surely something to be remembered, though she didn’t get time to snoop at where the smell was coming from. The sound of the front door opening and closing stopped her in her tracks.
It really had been hours that went by, how big is this place?
Betty had been quickly taken out of her thoughts again by the sound of someone coming up the stairs. She was still frozen in fear, her brain unable to tell her body to move and get out of there… Get out of there before she ended up caught or worse killed.
Luckily Betty had managed to sneak around the castle, like a shadow. And they never knew that she was there. After hours of them being home though Betty was tired of hiding, she wanted to come out and expose Peach for who she really was… She didn’t want Y/N to suffer any longer that simply wasn’t fair.
So she did as most people would do in this situation… Hide under the bed and listen to their conversation and boy was it a long one. “Why are you doing this all for me? I mean first taking me here and then making me a fancy breakfast only to then take me out to the mall,”
“You’re my best friend… You deserve all of that,” Peach reassured.
Lies, Y/N she’s telling you lies… Why can’t you see them?
“What the hell is wrong with you… You know ever since you’ve been bullying people I’ve stood up for you but I can’t do that anymore… I can’t let you buy our friendship,”
“Wait… No Y/N, please… Please Y/N listen to me I’ve changed- I just want the best for us I thought some time away would do us good- I had no idea you felt this way,” Peach cried pulling Y/N back by the arm and her best friend let her much to her demise.
“Peach I really can’t do this anymore… I can’t watch you treat people like trash… I can’t be your little minion your puppet anymore- It’s wrong!”
“That’s not what I’ve been trying to do… Please you have to, believe me, I’ll change! I’ll change for you!” She tried to reassure though she didn’t do a very good job at it as Y/N wasn’t buying a word that was coming out of her mouth.
Y/N only cameo n this trip to get away from Betty and try and forget about her and look where that got her. At the same time, she was simply trying to just be a good friend to Peach but as always Peach had to twist it in some sort of direction that it didn’t need to be twisted.
Y/N always tried to be a good friend to Peach… Well, at least she thought she was. She always stuck up for her, was there whenever she cried, and even went to all of these stupid things she seemed to plan every minute. There wasn’t a minute that went by that Peach wasn’t planning something new and dragging Y/N on some sort of new “Best friend” adventure. Though soon it just became old.
“I can’t change the past… Because if I could trust me Y/N I would,”
“I know you would… I just- I can’t do it anymore- I need some space… Please just give me some space,” Y/N all in but pleaded shrugging off her best friends touch. “I just need some time to think things through,”
“Please… Please Y/N don’t do this to me… Don’t leave me,” Peach mumbled through her sobs. Betty almost laughed and couldn’t help yet to snicker at the sound of it… Fake crying Peach; is that the best you can do?
“Just some time apart Peach… It will do us good,” Y/N mumbled walking out of her room only to be followed by her friend. Y/N was packing… Packing up to leave Y/N couldn’t help yet feel overjoyed by the thought of Y/N leaving on her own after she realized what a shitty person her best friend was.
“Fine… Fine if that’s what you want then I guess I won’t be able to stop you,” Peach mumbled through a cry. “Just please remember this as the day that you broke my heart-”
“Wait,no Peach,” Y/N went to go reach out to her but she turned around and sprinted toward her room slamming the door shut with a loud bang.
That’s when the tears began furiously streaming down Y/N’s face, as she zipped up her suitcase and grabbed her last things and left. Betty watched from the window by the front door as she got into a cab.
Looks like you’re coming home to me Y/N… I knew you would.
Betty was just about to go out the door and follow Y/N and make sure that she got home safely, though she stopped in her tracks hearing the footsteps coming down the stairs. It was too late for her to move and get into hiding so Betty was stuck getting caught as nothing less of an intruder.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” Peach questioned staring the blonde up and down in amazement. “How in the hell did you know that we were here?” Though Betty never answered her question simply staring at her starstruck.
“I’m leaving,” Betty tried to explain sternly though her voice came out a little above a whisper as it also cracked with fear.
“No, you’re not,” Peach mumbled as Betty didn't know what in the hell she was talking about until she pulled out a gun.
"Woah hey now…" Betty mumbled putting her hands up in defense though it didn't do much good as the gun was pointed at her.
"No, you're not going anywhere,"
