Rey opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings. She was in an unfamiliar place, and couldn't move her limbs. She looked across from her and saw something familiar. The masked face of Kylo Ren.

"Where am I?" Rey asked angrily, glaring at the masked figure.

"You're my guest." Kylo Ren replied.

"Where are the others?" She asked, hatred still burning in her eyes.

"You mean the murderers, traitors and thieves you call friends? You'll be relieved to hear that I have no idea. ...You still want to kill me."

"That happens when you're being hunted by a creature in a mask." Rey spat, and Kylo Ren reached up to remove his mask.

He removed his mask and let his hair fall around his head, causing Rey to stare at him, then quickly look away.

"Tell me about the droid." He demanded.

"He's a BB unit with a selenium drive and a thermal hyperscan vindicator..."

"It's carrying a section of a navigational chart. And we have the rest, recovered from the archives of the Empire - but we need the last piece. And somehow, you've convinced the droid to show it to you. You. A scavenger." Kylo Ren cut in, and Rey stared at him.

He stood up and move towards her, his hand extended.

"Show it to me."

"NO!" Rey yelled, and he dropped his hand.

"Fine, fine." He gestured with his hand and two stormtroopers removed Rey from the interrogation table and grabbed her arms.

"Take her to the East Wing." Kylo Ren demanded, and the stormtroopers dragged her out of the room.

"Let go of me!" Rey screamed, trying to kick the stormtroopers as they brought her around the ship.

"Stop resisting it. We're not going to hurt you." One of them said, and Rey stopped in her tracks.

"You're not?" She asked quizzically.

"No. You heard the Supreme Leader. You're his guest."

"His... guest." Rey asked, confused, and the stormtrooper nodded.

"Yes. This is your room. You are not to leave until he tells you to."

Rey frowned as they pushed her into the room, but said nothing as they left. She looked around the room, which was grey and silver with bright lights everywhere.

"Why is he doing this?" She muttered to herself, and a droid in the corner came to life, causing Rey to scream.

"Who are you?" She asked, and the droid beeped.

"You're BB-9E? It's nice to meet you, BB-9E." Rey said to the small black BB unit.

She smiled. "You remind me of my friend, BB-8. You two would be good friends."

BB-9E beeped in response, and just then, there was a knock on the door.

"The Supreme Leader requests your presence at dinner." A voice said, and Rey spun around.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"General Hux." The voice from the other side of the door replied.

"Tell him I'd rather starve than dine with a monster like him."

"I said, the Supreme Leader requests your presence." General Hux repeated.

"And I said, no! Tell him I'll starve!" Rey yelled.

The man laughed. "Fine. Whatever you wish. Starve."

Rey heard General Hux's footsteps walk away from the door, and sat down on the bed, crying.

BB-9E beeped, concerned for his new friend.

"I'm okay, BB-9E. It's just that your master, Kylo Ren, is a bit of a monster. Capturing me and holding me hostage until I give him what he wants?"

The droid beeped in reply, and Rey laughed. "I guess you're right. I should be grateful that he's given me a room instead of keeping me in that awful interrogation room."

Meanwhile, Kylo Ren was sitting at the long dining table, waiting.

"Hux! Where is the girl?" He demanded, and the general gulped.

"She's not coming. She said she'd rather starve than dine with you."

Kylo Ren stood up, angered. "Fine! Let her starve!"

He pushed over a couple chairs with the Force, and slammed a stormtrooper against the wall. He then marched out of the room to find Rey.

"Why didn't you come down to dine with me?" Kylo Ren yelled while pounding on the door.

"Because I'd rather starve then dine with a monster!" Rey screamed.

"I was trying to be nice!" He yelled.

"GO AWAY!"

"FINE! STARVE!" Kylo Ren bellowed, and angrily stomped off to his quarters, leaving a mess of charred metal in his wake.

Rey sat back down on the bed, crying tears of hurt and anger, her eyes growing drowsy.

Hours later, after Rey had dozed off a few times, there was another knock at the door.

"I thought I told you to go away!" Rey exclaimed, and there was a laugh from the other side.

"I'm not General Hux or the Supreme Leader, dear. I brought you some food, as you missed dinner earlier."

"Who are you?"

"Captain Phasma. Would you care to open the door? Your food is getting cold, and I don't want to get caught."

Rey walked over and opened the door to find a woman wearing metal stormtrooper-like armor carrying a tray of food.

The captain walked in and set the tray on the table in the corner of the room.

"Why are you doing this?" Rey asked.

"We're not all evil, dear, despite what you people at the Resistance think. We haven't had a visitor in a long time. Not one that gets a room, at least."

Rey frowned. "Then why me? Why am I still here?"

Phasma laughed. "Because you're valuable. He needs you."

"Valuable? He needs me?" Rey questioned and the captain laughed again.

"Yes, dear. Now, I better go and finish my duties. And do me a favor and dump that tray down the trash chute once you're done."

"Why?"

"Because you're not supposed to have eaten." Phasma said, and picked up her blaster and left the room.

"I'm... valuable..." Rey muttered as she picked up a piece of bread.

BB-9E beeped in response, and Rey laughed.

"Thank you, BB-9E."

She hurriedly ate the food on the tray, and then dropped everything down the trash chute.

"I wish I was back home on Jakku." Rey muttered and there was a laugh from the other side of the door.

"Jakku? It's nowhere. You shouldn't call that piece of trash home." A voice said, and Rey stood up, infuriated.

"Who are you to talk about Jakku like that?!" She yelled, and the person laughed again.

"I think you know who you're talking to."

Rey frowned and opened the door to be greeted by Kylo Ren's masked face. "What do you want, you monster?"

"I think you know what I want."

"You're not getting what you want." Rey spat, and Kylo Ren laughed.

"I think we both know that your answer is wrong."
