When you are born into an underprivileged family, that becomes your first sin
Cuz then you automatically fall into the probably "thief" category or the "mannerless /disrespectful" or "uneducated "
Top this off with a probably "aggressive" stamp if you from a black underprivileged family and you are good to goWelcome to the "I feel sorry for you " club... The "Is that not too expensive for your kind club? " The " u can't be here, it's only for the privileged " WhatsApp group
Truth be told
It's hard being poor And black (yes I said it) in a fast moving society
Every attempt you make to get somewhere is taken as a threat
You are always in danger of being destroyed.
It's like u are being compressed to amount to only a little and no more..you are always underminedIt's sad but true.. It's true that you can't have everything you want.. You can barely meet your needs.
Well I say fuck it cuz there's another truth...yes.. there's something u can have...You can have imagination and dreams and hopes with a tat knowledge.. A few coins in your pocket (never always enough but helps you get by)
It's always tough, twice as hard to get things done when u poor
And people wonder why u taking so long to do what u said you were gonna do... Why u haven't bought that big thing yet but you always get there.. AlwaysIt's like a sin being poor
Like it's wrong to be it
That all wrong/bad things naturally associate with it.. It's not true
And then when you think you moved a positive step ahead u still feel like u haven't moved a muscle cuz u are constantly reminded of you status
You don't want them to make things extra hard for youAll you want is to be out of here, out of poverty
All you want is a helping hand to pull you out...~G.H
