Demi's view;
"What was that all about?" Lexi asked.
"I don't know" Joey replied.
Their conversation slowly turned into mumbles as I zoned out thinking about all the worst possibilities that could have happened. I hate the idea that something could have happened to Tom, why can't I stop thinking about him!

"I'm just going to go & Skype my mum Lex" I lie, I need to find him. I need to know he's okay & what's wrong.
"Okay then, ill be there soon to get ready for tonight. Don't forget about that, yea?" Lexi replies.
"I won't, don't worry" I reply as a small laugh falls from my lips.
I make my way over to the door & open it. I close it behind me & start thinking where he could be. I turn left, to go down the hall & down the stairs. I get to the third step & there I see him. I see Tom, hugging his knees like I was last night, his head buried in his knees. I slowly walk back up the stairs & quietly sit next to him.
"Hey, you alright?" I whisper, not wanting to make him jump or scare him.
"How long have you been sitting there?" The words Tom says come out as a mumble, he still hasn't lifted his head to look at me.
"Tom, look at me" I ask him.
"I'm really tired" he replies back, like I'm going to take that. I move so I'm sitting directly in front of him, I find his chin & lift his head up. A gasp left my mouth.
"What's happened to you? Are you okay! Tom, answer me." I say in a rush wanting answers.
"I'm fine, seriously, but there's things I should be doing"
He gets up & starts walking away, he takes long strides. I run to him & grab his elbow with my hand.
"Who, who was it?" I ask.
"Seriously Demi, I'm fine, it's just a little bruise"
"A little bruise, please tell me you're not being serious! Have you seen how big it is. I will keep following you until you tell me" I tell him, standing my ground & making it known that I will find out all the answers to my questions.
"Demi, go back inside & do what ever you were planning on doing. Please," he begs. His brown eyes shining under the light as he looked me in the eye & said
"I'm fine" in a slow voice. This was perfect, I could feel my knees becoming weak & my heart racing.
