The hallway

Demi's view;
We stay this way for a while. Just looking at each others eyes. Seriously, I could spend my whole night like this, in the corner of my eye I see the sun setting & that's when our moment was wrecked.

A bundle of laughs coming from Joey & Lexi found there way out into the hall. Lexi was crying with laughter & nearly fell right into me. Tom broke the look first as he stopped Joey examine his face.

"I'ma go to the shop" Tom says as he runs off.
"What the hell was that!" Lexi basically squealed in my ear.
"Nothing, I was trying to get answer out of him it didn't work" I explain to them both
"No, that was the look, you were giving each other the look" Lexi tells me in an excited rush.
All three of us walk to our dorm as I try to explain to the two of them it wasn't like that.

I get ready in a record time of 2 hours & 4 minutes not that I was counting. I'm starving but we are still waiting for Tom. Will he show up? What if he got beaten up again? Is he okay? All of these things rush through my head, when a loud thud came through the hall way.
"Dem get that would you!" Lexi shouts.

I walk to the door & open it, a hand pulls me out of the dorm & I'm pinned up against the wall.
"What has he told you! Everything he said is a lie! I need you Demi, please!" Jeff begs.
I'm confused, I'm lost, what's going on? I wasn't expecting Jeff to be here I was expecting Tom. Where is he? I was oblivious to what was going to happen, Jeffs head came down to my level, his lips inches a way from me. I cry to myself, I don't want him near me after what he done!

I must have closed my eyes for a couple of minutes.
"Ouch ouch ouch" I open my eyes to see Tom holding his hand, blood streaming down it. He sees that my eyes are on him & he takes Jeff's place in standing over me as I'm still pinned to the wall, my head looking up as Tom looks down at me. I would prefer this to Jeff any day.

Jeff scrambles to his feet & looks at Tom,
"Don't come near her again, or you won't just get a punch, do you understand?" Tom says in a harsh tone, but it's so sexy on him & for once, Jeff actually looks scared. He holds his nose & runs down the stairs, not turning around.

I look into Tom's worried eyes & he whispers
"Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?"
My knees become weak for the second time today & my heart starts pounding,
"I'm fine, thank you" I smile a warm smile at him as a small laugh falls from his lips & he looks at the floor.

"I need to get ready for this stupid boring dinner tonight, ill be around in 5" he says as he walks away.
"Hey! It's not going to be boring if I'm there" I laugh.
"What ever you say" he winks & walks into his dorm.
