She blinks up at me. "I'm hungry."

I rub my eyes. What the fuck?

"Look! Your body's trying to make another baby!" She exclaims.

I sigh, pushing her off me and onto the floor. She groans as I get up.

"What are you still doing here?"

She looks up, collecting her limbs. "I'm hungry."

I frown. "So fucking what? Go—"

Oh yeah. Crazy parents. Didn't teach her anything.

"Don't you know how to make toast?" I grumble.

She shakes her head. "My parents gave me food."

This is getting old.

"What can you do?" I ask, getting up.

"I can count and read, and I can walk and blink—"

"Can you cook, can you clean? Can you do anything by yourself?" I snap.

Her eyes go big. She starts sagging. Oh she's sad again. That is such a fucking bummer.

"Fine. I'll teach you how to make toast. Come on,"

So I taught the idiot how to make toast.

"Can you kiss me," she blurts, putting butter on her toast.

I frown. "Sorry? What? Where did you hear that from?"

"Tv," she chews, "I want to try it."

"No," I dismiss her immediately.

"But you told me villains do whatever they want," she whined.

"That's true," I say dully, looking at my phone.

She stops talking, so I assume she takes my answer. You know what they say about assuming.

Instead, she appears in front of me, and puts her lips against mine clumsily.

I push her away. "One, no. Two, you are still unvaccinated. Third, no."

I wipe my lips. She smiles brightly.

"I like it! I wanna try it again!"

She moves in to kiss me again with her unvaccinated lips.

God damn it. The illnesses!

"Dawn—"

She pressed her lips against mine. She's horrible at this. It's a given, because she has no experience and she's only seen it probably once on tv.

Still.

I pull her head back by her hair, and she...frowns? Maybe it's a pout.

"Stop it." I order her.

"But I want to. And you said if I'm a villain I can do whatever I want," she protests.

"And you can. Except when I tell you not to do something,"

She's really trying my fucking nerves.
