Seven years later...
Good behavior. Heh. They actually let me out. The first thing I do, is I take a shower and change my clothes.
Then, I locate her. I'm no tech, but I can make techs pee their fucking pants. And that comes in handy.
She's living pretty close. It's like she wants me to come back to her.
I head to her place. It's not in town. She left. Left town. She's settled down in another small town near by. I walk into her house. It's not even fucking locked.
Did she forget everything I taught her?
Well, I'm here to remind her.
I hear her. Someone steps into the room. It's not her. It's a man. She steps in shortly after. She catches sight of me instantly.
He still doesn't realize. How could he possibly protect her, I'm standing right in front of him and he doesn't see me.
"R-Roy?" She whispers.
He finally looks at me. "Who are you? How did you get in he—"
"Who is he?" I asked.
"M-My husband." She whispered.
I smile, shooting him in the chest. "And now you're a widow. Let's go. Get moving." I tuck the gun away.
"How did you?" She whispered. "find me?"
I shrug. "Why aren't your doors locked? What did I tell you?"
"Someone's always c-coming," she looked down.
I nod. "And here I am. You've forgotten everything I ever taught you. Now, let's go."
She swallowed. "I-I like it here. I'm not going Roy."
I cock my head. "I'm being very nice to you, Dawn. Especially with your little...blunder."
She swallowed. She looks a little older. A bit more mature.
"Come here, let me see you," I rasp, walking toward her.
She shakes her head. "You can't be here, Roy."
"Of course I can, my little Brutus," I smirk. "You really stabbed me in the back in Huh? Prison? Fucking sucks."
"I'm sorry," she murmured. "It was my job."
"Well, job well done. I was successfully betrayed and imprisoned. All I'm missing is 23 stab wounds and you can call me Ceaser."
She cocks her head in confusion. I smile. At least she's still dumb.
"Did your mommy and daddy save you?" I ask looking around. "I saw them, through the barred window of the police car."
She swallows, shaking her head. "I don't know what you mean."
I could just...I could kill her. She betrayed me. If she were anyone else I would. But she owes me more than that.
"You and I," I look up at her, "Are teacher and student. You didn't get to graduate. Now, don't make me come get you, Dawn. Is that your name?"
She nodded.
I smile. I knew it.
"Come on, I won't hurt you—not unless you keep stalling that is."
She walks toward me tossing a glance back at her dead husband on the floor. Not even a tear. A sign of remorse.
Guess they weren't close.
"Your parents arranged it?" I ask.
She looks up at me. Just bright and innocent eyes. You wouldn't think she set fires, or broke kneecaps. Or infiltrated houses and imprisoned people.
I smile.
She nods. "Yeah. I didn't really like him."
"I see," I take her hand. "You know what you did...was very evil."
She frowns. I stroke her cheek. "I'm actually proud of you."
She looks up at me. "You are?"
I nod, coming closer to her. "I never thought you could do something so terrible. You fooled me completely," I pat her head.
"I did good?" She asks.
"Oh you did bad. It was horrible. My heart actually hurt for a second!" I chuckle. "It was absolutely wretched. Outstanding performance! Ten Outta ten."
She grinned.
So cute. I hate her.
"So now, we're gonna leave. We're gonna go to the city. And you're gonna show me how evil you can be."
She formed. "I don't like being evil. I didn't like...putting you away."
I smile. "Oh that's because you're mine. My girlfriend, Dawn. Remember?"
She's more fragile than she was when I left her. I wonder why.
"I'm the only one you don't have to be evil to. So just...come with me."
I didn't have a plan when I came here. I've been waiting seven years for this. To see her. To see the expression she made.
And she's just looking at me lost.
"My mom and dad—"
"They put you up to it didn't they? But that doesn't matter. None of that matters anymore. I'm back now."
And you are never getting away.
