(Sebastian's P.O.V)

I took a deep breath and jumped into the hole. This is for Ciel, I told myself, hoping it would somehow reassure me. It didn't. This whole was a lot deeper than I thought it was. I thought I'd have hit the ground already but that didn't seem to be the case.

After what seemed like years I finally hit the ground, most ungracefully I might add. Instead of gracefully landing on my feet, I full on face-planted into the ground, earning a mouthfull of dirt. Groaning, I lifted myself to my feet, spitting out the dirt and dusting off my butlers attire.

I looked around to see what seemed like a desert. The sky looked like that of earth; a light, clear blue with a few puffy clouds here and there, the sun shining in its full glory. Looking back in front of me, there was nothing. Miles and miles of hard dirt, a few cacti in some places and I think I saw an Amaradillo.

Sighing, I shut my eyes. So thats it? A desert? Is this the part where I die? Opening my eyes, I expected to see the scenery to change. Like maybe a river, or a tree, or a man eating vulture, something. Instead, I recieved nothing. Growling in irritation,  I yanked at my hair. "This is pointless!" I shouted into nothing.

"Well, you don't need to shout," a voice said. I immediately opened my eyes and looked in front of me to see a door. A door? Well hey its something! I latched onto the knob, pulling in it different directions but it would. Not. Budge!

Whining, I let the knob go, kicking it in irritation, about to say some very inappropriate things when the voice spoke again. "Ow! Watch it!!" I froze. T-The door...spoke? "Uh, are you a talking door?" I said, eyes wide.

"Well no shit," the door spoke, snickering slightly. Sighing, I looked at it. "Can you just let me go through you?" The door giggled. "At least buy me dinner first." Mentally facepalming, I began to question if this door was related to Grell.

"You know what I meant!" I said. The door sighed. "Yeah, yeah," it said. "You cannot enter me--" it paused to giggle. "Until you tell me why." I raised an eyebrow. "Why?" I asked. "Because I want to do the stupid trials and get back to Earth!" The door stayed silent for a minute before making a loud buzzer-like noise making me jump. "Wrong!" It cried.

Cringing, I decided to just tell it wanted. "Look I...I just want to see Ciel again." The door stayed quiet, seeming to be listening so I continued. I told it the whole story, only realizing at the end, that I had just poured my heart out to a door. When I had finished, the door stayed quiet for a moment before making another loud noise.

"DING DING DING!!!!!" it cried. "YOU. ARE. A. WINNER!!!!!!" Jumping again at the loud noise, I rubbed the back of my head. "So, uh, can I...you know..." I trailed off. The door giggled as I heard it unlock. "If you insist!" Rolling my eyes, I thanked the door and walked through, finding myself in a dark room. The door slammed itself shut behind me and I gulped softly, looking up and finding myself in an alley.

Although, when the lights came up, I realized it wasn't an alley. I looked up to see the sky. Eyes narrowing I looked behind me, seeing the alley kept on going, and when I looked forward, it went on for a few feet before making a sharp right.

The second thing I noticed were the walls were made of some stone-ish type rock, but much stronger looking. They also went as tall as 70 feet. My eyes widened as I soon realized where I was. The maze.

(Ciel's P.O.V)

I sat in the carriage, staring at the ground as I kept repeating the ingredients in my head. Item of your demons spirit animal, heart of a panther, pearl from an oyster, and a black diamond. Crow feather, panther heart, oyster pearl, black diamond. Crow feather, panther heart, oyster pearl, black diamond. Crow feather, panther heart, oyster pearl, black diamond.
I was suddenly jerked out of my thoughts ad the carriage skidded to a stop. Sighing, I realized we must have arrived. I nodded a thanks to Tanaka before walking to the stone building, open in the door slowly and cautiously entering.

I shuddered in disgust as I walked down the row of cells. This was the last place I wanted to go to, but it was the first place i met Sebastian. Also, the only place that would have one of his feathers. Walking to the sacrifice table, I looked around.

I circled the table many times, panicking when I didn't see anything. "Oh come on," I said. "Don't tell me they all disappeared!" Giving up, I collapsed to my knees burying my face in my hands. What was I thinking?

Bringing Sebastian back? He was a demon and I, just a stupid human. How was I even supposed to get all these things without him! I was so reliant on my butler that I could barely tie my shoes let alone get a panther heart!

I was on the brink of tears, sniffling when I suddenly heard something. Opening my eyes, I blinked, looking around. "H-Hello?" Oh right Ciel. Because whatever it is, its going to come out and say Hey I'm here to kill you! Want a sandwhich?

Rolling my eyes I stopped as I heard the noise again. It was like a soft buzzing sound. I stood and followed the buzzing to the table. I already checked here, I thought. I looked down beneath the table to the far corner and gasping. There lay a small, black feather, glowing a deep violet. I smiled brightly and eagerly picked up the feather, holding it gently in my hands. Perhaps there still is hope...
