Frieda sat in her room her eyes closed trying to fall asleep, why was this so awkward, they were her friends it should be easy getting back into a flow with them. Maybe she should just answer their questions, and then they'll understand, Frieda thought as she began tracing the scar on her hand unintentionally.

She owed them so much, the least she could do was answer their questions. Frieda why do you keep pretending, why do you keep holding onto hope, it's pointless, isn't it? What's gonna change? Frieda shot out of bed and shut the voice off, everyone had gone to sleep and she, she was scared of falling into another nightmare of Oblivion, getting out of bed Frieda snapped her fingers quietly and changed outfits and quietly walked out of her room.  The hallways were silent, no one was awake, except her of course; she traveled to the Alfea garden and sitting there was the rainbow gardenia, she sat beside the flower and gently touched it.

Hello Frieda the rainbow gardenia said softly, how are you?

I want to say I'm fine, but Frieda said I'm pretty sure we both know that's a lie. It's just been so hard, last year was horrible and even now out of corruption point I feel it's control on me. I just want to hide away and forget about all of this, and it seems that I'm not going to be able to escape it for a while, I'm teaching here again, and I'll see the rainbow council sooner or later, and the last thing I need is for them to put me back into that awful place. I don't know what to do anymore, I don't know who I am anymore, how am I supposed to help other people if I can't even help myself?

The rainbow gardenia looked at Frieda, his fairy, and he felt every emotion running through her, and the brokenness of her heart. I wish I had the answers you seek for, but I don't; they're buried within you, you just need to dig deep enough to find them. This is what I do know, you can't give up now, don't hide away; I can promise you that as far as I can see into the future you won't return to oblivion, but what I see is not always stable.

Frieda the burden that you're holding is so heavy, stop carrying it alone, share it with other people and then you won't carry all of its weight. Be yourself, even if you don't know who that person is you'll find her on the way. Teach the same way you did last year as if nothing happened, as if nothing changed, just because you're feeling this way doesn't mean everyone is, they want to learn and grow and become the best fairies they can be; and they look up to you. So even if you don't believe in you know that they do, and all it takes is one person to believe for another to achieve.

You can do anything you put your mind to Frieda, I believe in you the rainbow gardenia said, and many people do as well, now it's time for you to believe in yourself, you can do this. Just believe, have trust and confidence in yourself and anything is possible. Fake it till you make it, because it doesn't matter that you're faking it, what matters is that you make it. Take a step then another, keep walking on, take a breath and then another, I believe in you, now it's your turn.

Frieda found herself back in the garden, the words of the rainbow gardenia vibrating through her, she felt relieved but worried for what that day would hold.

Frieda? A familiar voice called out from the door to the garden, what are you doing here at this time?

Frieda stood up and turned around Daphne stood before her, looking at her worried. Share the burden with someone else the rainbow gardenia's words rang through her head, so that you won't have to carry all of its weight alone. I couldn't sleep Frieda said quietly, I haven't been able to sleep for a while, I keep having nightmares of that place and I hate when my thoughts bring me back there.

What are you talking about Daphne said confusion flicking on her face.

Frieda froze remembering, Daphne wasn't fully here last year, she was so busy getting her own life back on track after the curse had been removed, that the only time she was at Alfea were the times when she taught classes. Other then that she was completely MIA; she didn't know what happened.
