Chapter 5

Michael's POV

I still can't believe someone would ever lay the a finger on my mate. Currently, I'm sitting on the bed still lightly applying dabs on her swelling and it going down just a bit.

After dabbing her eye for 5 minutes, I went downstairs to get a drink. I walked down to the kitchen and saw Lucas with his mate, Kelsey. They were practically having sex on the counter.

"Oh my gosh. Will you guys get a room, please?!" I yelled while they screamed in surprise. I smirked on how they reacted.

"Dude, really? Can you be more of an asshole??" He said. Usually, I don't let people talk to be like that but he's practically a brother to me, so I always let it slide.

Just to piss him off ," Yeah, I can. Since you guys were sucking each other face off." Kelsey was blushing scarlet red and I laughed at that, then she glared.

"I'm going to go. See you later babe," Kelsey said as she gave her mate a seductively wink. While he shivered in pleasure. Then she walked away.

"Thanks for ruining the moment," he said.

" You're more than welcome. But that's not why I came here to talk to you,"I told him. He looked up and realized I was talking about my mate.

" Yeah. How is she? Is she doing okay?" He questioned with a curious expression.

"Yes. She's holding up. I just don't understand why someone could do that to her...." My wolf wants to come out and I don't blame him ," Who in their rightful mind would do that to such a beautiful girl?" I'm beyond pissed and my wolf wants to come out so badly and I'm going to let him.

"Hey, man. We're going to find out who did this to her okay? And when we do, we'll kill them. For making your mate, our Luna, in pain." He said. This is why he's my best friend, we think so much alike.

"I'm going to go into the woods to cool off, " I told him as I walked towards the front door.

And him being the annoying friend he is said ,"Be Careful sweetheart. There are crazed animals in the woods!" And I just glared and left out the door.

I walked out the door and closed it behind me. It was windy but I don't care. My wolf, Blaze, wanted out. So, I let him. My bones started to break as I heard the aches and groan coming from me. Then I was on all fours. My wolf is a Big and black with copper gray eyes. I started running in wolf speed.

I ran toward the waterfall that was glistening in the secret woods. And stood there for a minute or two. I want to kill. I smelled something very horrible and it disgusts me. Rouges.

A large wolf came out from behind a tree. It was circling me and by the size of it, I assumed it was a leader. He lunged at me and I dipped my head. That made me more upset. I ran towards it and grabbed its hind leg and bit it.

He howled in pain. Then he limped towards me and before he could make a move on killing me. I grabbed his neck and snapped it. The wolf laid dead in front of me.

I stayed for the night and slept by the river.

The next morning, I woke the same place I went to sleep. I was in my human form, naked, so I walked back to the pack house. When I get there I see extra clothing so I hurry and put them on.

I walked into the house not paying attention and asked Lucas ," Hey is she awa-" I stop mid sentence. Sophia. She so gorgeous . I can tell she took a shower, I can smell my old spice all over her. " Hi, I'm Michael. You're Sophia right?" When I said her name I can tell she like that. The way she just shivered. The things I could just do by grabbing her a-.

"Yes. It's nice to me you." she said in a shy voice. And after that she was checking me out. And I smirked.

I cleared my throat and she looked up and blushed. My smirk had grew more. " Can we talk outside for a minute?" I said in a slightly pissed mood because she was in the wood with bruises. She looked scared, so my eyes soften.

I grabbed her hand and felt tingles. God I'm so whipped. I sat her down on the bench in the garden and said," Why were you in the woods?"

She looked like she was going to cry. But I had to let it go for her sake.
