Chapter 12

Michael's POV

I looked down at my mate. God she was beautiful. I'm walking towards the background, which were I will present my pack their new Luna. I'm walking towards the podium ready to present her. Shes next to me holding my hand. She's nervous, how cute.

"Good evening! As you know, I have sent you guys away from the pack house for a reason. But now I'll tell you the reason,"They were already looking around having excited expressions,"I have sent you away because I have found my mate." And the whispers began. "I know it is a shock to you but I want you to know that you have to treat her good and care for your new Luna," I gently pushed Sophia in front of me so that they can see my beautiful mate.

They started cheering and clapping. I'm glad that they already like her. She looked at the crowd and waved slightly. The crowd "awed" while I laughed at her shyness.

"No harm can be done to her. Sophia. My mate. Your Luna." I said as the crowd went down. I pulled the feeling with me to go down the podium to introduce her to some very special people to me. While we were walkingthrough the crowd she waved that many people. We stopped in front of someone she didn't expect to meet.

Sophia's POV

We stopped in front of a beautiful couple. A man who looks like the older version of Michael, they have the same color eyes and tan. Then I looked towards his left and saw a very gorgeous woman, who had shoulder length blond hair, with stunning gray eyes.

The man looked down at me and smiled at me. But his wife I assume did something I didn't expect. She hugged me like there was no tomorrow.

"Oh Michael, she is so beautiful! And you kept her from me this long. How dare you do this to your mother," She exclaimed while she hit Michael on the back of his head. HIS PARENTS?!

The man's deep voice came ,"Honey is that necessary? We see her now,"he looked at me," Hello Sophia. My name is Richard and this is my wife Catherine." I introduced myself. Then after introducing myself to them Michael left somewhere with his dad so I was left with the mother.

"Oh sweetheart, you don't have to be shy about being next to me. I won't hurt you," she said calmly. I smiled sheepishly.

"I'm sorry. I'm just not used to so many people nor meeting new people," I blushed. And she laughed.

"May I ask you a question, Sophia?" I nodded. "I know you must have been scared when you found out what he was. And you have accepted him, so why haven't you let him mark you?"

Mark me. Like a hickey? "What do you mean "mark me"? I asked. She looked at me weirdly then said,"Oh he mustn't have told you, just so you could get used to all of this. But he has to mark you so other males know that you are his. It's what us werewolves do, plus it's not a hickey silly. It's a bite mark." she enthusiastically.

He has to bite me?! Shit. That kinda made me horny. Michael came back right after with his father. He was blushing while his father was smiling at me. Ha they must have talked about what me and his mother had. Probably to do more. Ugh living here has got you so dirty minded.

After the party, Michael had to leave somewhere. I'm in the house alone by myself. And I was fine with it. Plus I didn't even see Mackenzie at the party. Thank god.

The front door open I assumed. I think it was Michael but I guessed wrong.

"Oh hey whore. Did you miss me? " Mackenzie.

She stalked towards me and grabbed me by the neck and pushed me up against the fridge. " You stole my man from me. You're just another pitiful human who could die in hell!!" She spat towards me. Then she threw a punch to my eye. Oh Damn. That hurts. She threw me to the ground and Kicked me on the stomach. I started to cry. I felt so weak with myself I didn't want to be there anymore but I want to stay and fight but I just couldn't. She looked down at me with disgust.

"I honestly feel sorry for you because you will never be left Michael doesn't love you he doesn't care so you can just forget about him and just leave," she claimed. No. I'm staying. " Sorry not sorry." then she left.

I heard the front door open again and then I see Michael he saw me of you and then he came rushing towards me.
He didn't ask what happen he just came into our room.

He set me on the bed and looked at me his eyes turning black and he is shaking," Tell me who fucking did this to you I'm not in the damn mood. I am trying to protect you tell me who it is please Sophia."

I looked at him. I saw the sadness in his eyes and the anger. I couldn't lie to him anymore. This is the last straw. I held my breath.

"Mackenzie , I said and then The other side came out.
