Chapter 6

Sophia's POV

I was on the urge to cry. I couldn't talk about my father and all that happened to me, well not yet. I knew I could trust him, I don't know why but I knew I just could.

"You don't have to talk about it now. But I just want you to know you can trust me." he said looking at me with worried eyes. I silently nodded my head yes.

We walked back inside to see Kelsey and Lucas. Michael just groaned ," Not again." They were practically attacking each other with their lips. Michael cleared his throat. They looked up and sheepishly smiled.

"Hi Kelsey," and she replied , " Hey!! We should totally get you ready, so all of us could hang out!"

" Um kels? I don't think that's a good idea. Plus, she hit her head pretty hard. I think she should just stay home." Michael said to her. For some unknown reason, I don't like the idea that he gives her a nickname. what's wrong with me? I don't even know the guy, I thought.

" Yeah I guess, you're right. But hey we can still hang out in my room?!" She exclaimed happily. I just laughed at her enthusiasm and replied with ,"sure."

So we left the boys behind but I could feel a heated gaze on my back so I turned around and saw Michael looking. He turned and blushed lightly. Does he like me? No he couldn't. No guy wants to deal with a girl with a past like mine.

We continued up the stairs, and entered Kelsey's bedroom. And let me tell you, I think this girl favorite color is pink. Pink bed, pink carpet and pink walls just everywhere. We sat down on the bed but I wondered off earlier that had happened today and decided to question it.

"Hey Kelsey , can I ask you a question?"I said.

"Sure and just call me kels," she smiled widely.

"Earlier today, when I told you that I saw wolves in the woods I was in, you looked at me with a fake smile. Like it was true don't you believe me?" I said silently.

She liked surprised that I knew the smile was fake but said ," I'm sorry for that. And it's not that I don't believe you, its just that there are legends to it," when I said nothing, she continued , " Well, legends say that in these very woods are an unknown species called werewolves. They are big and bad and kill too, but aren't murders unless they pass their territory."

I stared at her for awhile then laughed my ass off. Moments later, she started to laugh herself. " Kels, there are no such thing as werewolves. It's illogical and a myth." I laughed. But then only said they're legends.

After that silly charade, we started talking about ourselves and girly things. Then Lucas and Michael came up and told us that they made dinner and it's ready.

We all went down stairs and grabbed a plate. We all sat down at the table. Then a very annoying and ver familiar voice came ," Aww Mikey , you made be dinner." I looked up and I would have never believed my eyes.
