II

We grabbed our bags off the luggage return, and walked to the doors. We saw a sign with our last name on it. My mom got a limo for us to take to our new house.

"Are you guys who I'm looking for?" I smiled, responding with a yes.

"That would be us!" I laughed at my mom because she sounded like a little kid. "Alright, let's go then!"

He grabbed two of our bags to help us out a bit, and started walking. So we followed him to the limo.

We put most of our bags in the trunk of the limo but we had to bring a few into the actual limo with us.

"Oh, by the way, I'm Derek." He smiled, and then tipped his hat at us, closing the door and going into the drivers seat.

The window in the limo was rolled down, so we could still talk to him. "Where to?" I grabbed a piece of paper out of my purse with our new address on it and handed it to Derek. He smiled and I rolled the window up.

My mom smirked at me. I was confused, "what's with the face?" She laughed. "Oh, nothing."

"Seriously mom! What?!" I was getting annoyed. "He's totally cute. You could so get with him!" I rolled my eyes playfully. Although he was very cute, I just wanted to focus on finding a new me.

I felt the limo stop and turn off, meaning we must have arrived at our new house, finally. The drive felt like forever.

Derek opened the door and gave me a hand to help me get out. Then did the same for my mom. He helped us with our bags and when I turned around and looked at the house, I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Mom... This.. Is... Amazing!" She smiled at me, knowing that the house satisfied me. "You like?" I just nodded, because I was honestly speechless.

I walked up the the door, mom and Derek following. "You don't have to do all of this Derek." He smiled towards my mom, "it's my pleasure for two beautiful ladies." I knew by now I was blushing and I couldn't help myself.

"Well, my job here is done. Here's my card if you need to go anywhere else!" He handed my mom and I both a card with his number and information on it.

"Thank you Derek." My mom and I both smiled and Derek left.

We took our own little tour around the house and we both chose the rooms we wanted. For it just being us, this house was really huge.
