"That one time I acted as your girlfriend and my mother thought that we are a real thing. Damn! I thought that was the last day of my life," I laughed taking a bite of my cake.
"You were not the only one who had to answer at home," Jungkook said looking out of the glass window of the cafe we were sitting in.
"Those were the days right..."
"You make it sound like it happened fifty years ago," he said shoving the last bit of cake into his mouth. I smiled.
"So what brings you back into town?"
"Just some stuff that I need to take care of you know," he shrugged.
"And the stuff is?"
"It's a guy thing," he dismissed my question.
"Tell me about you. What have you been doing these days?"
"Um, school. That's the only place I can be outside home. If I'm lucky enough then I will get to go to a movie on weekends," I wiped my non existent tears.
"Sucks to be you," he chuckled. I agreed.
"Your mother is still keeping you under her thumb?"
"Oh, please that's the favorite part of her life. She love to crush me under her thumb," I said in a dramatic tone.
"How far has your boxing skills come?"
"Coach said I can get into nationals next year," he grinned leaning back.
"My god! Jeon! Isn't this a good news! Nationals already?" I couldn't contain my excitement.
"You should really stop being loud. People are looking at us," he said creasing his brows in concern.
"Who cares? My best friend is getting into nationals next year! That is all matters now!" I stood up and yelled. He dragged me out of the shop by hand.
"You haven't changed a bit," he said pinching my cheek.
"Neither did you Jeon," I gave him a fond smile.
Jungkook happened to call his friend through pay phone outside cafe and asked him to get his car. We originally planned to part our ways from the cafe but he insisted in staying.
