Jisoo's POV

"Jennie-ya?" I peeked into the window of the room of my dear Jendeuk to only see a well-made bed, a tidy room, and some papers on her desk. I decided to roam around the room that felt so comfy when a familiar voice called out my name behind me.

"Jisoo? What on earth? How did you get-"

All the rambling stopped when I raised my finger and faced him. A questioning gaze was sent my way.

"Nice to see you again too, Hanbin." I sarcastically greeted him partnered with an eye roll. If he wasn't Jennie's sibling, I swear, I could've just ignored him.

"Gee... sorry." He said while patting my head gently.

"Don't treat me like a bitch, you dumbass." I slapped his hand away from my 'now-messed-up' hair. I then tidied it and spared a glare at him. He raised his hands heavenwards and a cheeky smile plastered on his face.

"Anyways Soo-ah... what the hell are you sneaking around Jennie's room for?" He asked me with a stern tone that's almost too foreign to me. He doesn't use it that much. Only when it's about his little sister.

"You speak like I'm some stranger, BI."

"If your here for Jennie, just leave. She isn't home." He said. Much more softer this time. Now that's more like it.

"It's true that I wanted to see Jennie but now that your here..." I trailed off with a smirk and grabbed his shirt collar to come close to my face. He obviously was nervous just by seeing his expression. "...I'm not that interested anymore."

I pulled him close and I could feel his shaky breathe on my lips which made me laugh internally.

"Yah! Kim Jisoo!" He pulled away from me as quick as a cheetah and exclaimed those words as he positioned himself in a fighting stance. "What the fucking hell are you doing?!" He added.

"I was just joking around, Binnie. You weren't actually thinking that I'd kiss you, right?" I teased him even more and that made his face even more red than before.

"Stop imagining things, Soo-ah." He chuckled but that didn't mean that I didn't notice the nervousness in his voice.

"Well, my interest for my Jendeuk came back and I suppose the kitten would be here in a minute." I clasped my hands together and smiled happily.

His eyes the widened and he pointed at me in disbelief.

Now what's wrong with him?

"Bitch... did you put a tracker on my sis? 'Cuz if you did I will-." I covered his mouth that only spats out nonsense and that I suppose shut him up.

"I didn't. Your jumping into conclusions that have nothing to do with this at all. But..." I smiled at him mischievously which made him gulp. "...the tracker thingy isn't so bad."

"Why you little..." He raised his arms to strangle me but then stopped when the person that we've been waiting for arrived.

"Um... Hey, Jen." I greeted her with a sheepish smile. Her shocked face then turned into a dark one. It says all over her face that she still doesn't want to see me.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Jennie leaned on the door frame and wore that expressionless face of hers while looking straight at me.

"You two sure are siblings." I looked at Hanbin, who was fidgeting on his place, then to her blank expression.

Hanbin scurried behind Jennie when his sister stared at him intensely. Jennie then looked back at me.

"Well?" She gestured me to speak and I cleared my throat to do some explanation.

"Um... I came here to see your brother." I pointed to Hanbin who was frantically mouthing curses at me. Silent ones of course.

"Really? Why?" She turned around at her crazy brother who immediately stopped doing what the hell he was doing.

"W-we have a p-project to do together." Hanbin smiled at her innocently and I gave him a thumbs up from behind Jennie.

"Why would a third-year college student..." Jennie trailed off and half-turned around to face me then continued, "...be partnered with a first-year college student for a project?" She pointed at me.

"I needed a smart ass partner for this one." He sheepishly smiled at her and she couldn't be any more confused.

"So are you calling me stupid? You always came to me when you needed some help. So what's the difference between me and her?" She said while having a small pout on her lips.

God... why are you so cute?

I didn't know why but they looked at me in shock while Jennie was blushing for no reason and I was obviously confused.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I pointed at myself and Hanbin bursted out laughing.

"D-did you really j-just say that o-out loud?" He tried to say between laughs.

And that's when it hit me.

I covered my mouth with the top of my hand while biting my lower lip out of embarrassment and hoped that my blush wasn't that obvious.

"I-I'll just be on my way." I said before opening Jennie's room window and hopped off to my balcony.

Yes, we were only neighbors and yet I felt like she was so far away from my reach. I heaved a sigh as I laid on my king-sized bed with a frown on my face.

"I'll never get her back."
