Jennie's POV

"Jennie, someone's here to see you." I suddenly shot up from my bed when I heard Hanbin's voice - unexpectedly loud voice - from outside of my room. The jerk didn't even think of knocking first before speaking.

"Who's it?" I asked. Laziness evident in my tone. I slumped myself back again onto my bed because I do not want to get up just yet. Low-key wishing that I could go back to that dream.

"Just see for yourself, gosh." I groaned as I heard his footsteps fade.

I'm still trying to cope with reality here, geez...

A couple of minutes has passed and I'm still laying down there on my bed not even planning on getting up and meeting that person. Who was that person to even have the honors of me meeting him/her face-to-face? What a hassle.

But something at the back of my mind was telling me to get my lazy ass up and go to that person with a smile on my face. And stupid me, I did.

Not someone who I'm expecting for such a fine morning. Never did I know that he even was free on Saturdays. Mostly, Jisoo would tell me that her entire family would be busy with business and bullshit. But I guess, this guy is just as naughty as his cousin. But Jisoo is probably even worse than him. I mean, I'm not complaining though.

"Hey Tae." I greeted him with a small smile on my face. His head lifted up at the mention of his name because he was looking down at his feet when I arrived at the living room.

"Oh... hi Jen." He greeted back half-awkwardly. He released a sigh before speaking again. "I know this is quite all of a sudden but..." He trailed off and nervously eyed the area of where my feet was. Looks like he found something to entertain himself.

"But..?"

"Can you go out with me?" He straight-forwardly said. By just that question, my eyes went wide as an owl's and my body tensed up hard like a-.

A trunk of a tree. Yup, that's how it is. Hahahahaha

Noticing my reaction, he immediately stood up and tried to rephrase what he said but failed miserably because he looked like a tomato and stuttered like a broken radio. Poor guy must've been embarrassed but what can I do? This was just out of the blue and very awkward.

I didn't even know he had the confidence of asking me out when he knows what happened to me and Jisoo. Not blaming him that much honestly, because it was my assumption that caused our break up, but what he did kinda made our friendship complicated.

I'm just not ready to go to dates and such just yet. It hasn't been really long since me and Jisoo parted so you really can't blame my heart from choosing to be locked up for awhile. But that would be pretty long.

"Like a date?" I tried to make the flow of the conversation become less awkward but it somehow did the opposite. Curse my low vocabulary.

"Yup. That's exactly what I'm saying." He nodded with a relieved expression. He didn't look so convincing though but I'll let it pass.

"But why exactly?" The question irked him. It was obvious because of his impatient expression. He looked like he had to deal with this faster and I'm making it hard for him or that's what I'm seeing.

He released a very exasperated sigh before smiling at me. Now, I'm just wondering if this guy is bipolar or something.

"A friendly date. No malice included." He simply stated. "Besides, I know Jisoo is still the one inside your heart so I have no intention of taking you from her or something related to that." He sincerely smiled. No hint of lying in his eyes. He clasped his hands together and begged me with puppy eyes. If it were Jisoo, I would've agreed but...

"Fine."

"Wh-what?" He replied with shock evident in his eyes. Looks like he didn't even expect me to agree to this. I felt a bit mad about that honestly.

"What? Didn't expect the unexpected?" I crossed my arms and mustered an angry face to at least show him that I am displeased by his expectation.

"To be honest, yes." He nervously chuckled before turning serious in a second later when he saw me glare at him. "But you've already said your yes but in this situation, your 'fine'. No more U-turns, Jennie Kim." He gave me a triumphant grin that looked like he just won a lottery and hell he did. No one ever make Jennie Kim agree but right now, I don't even know if it was me who said that.

"Not planning to, Kim Taehyung." I returned his grin with a smirk that's challenging him. His hearty laugh was heard all around the living room. "Anyways, I'll have to prepare so wait here for five minutes top?"

"Of course."

...

Finally contented with my look, plain white crop top that says 'NOT A FAN OF BLACK' - which isn't exactly true - partnered with a black skirt that wasn't too long or too short for my liking and cute round glasses, I went down to finally get this 'date' over with.

I most certainly did not forget to where the necklace Jisoo gave me besides, it fits with the outfit and it definitely isn't because I treasure this with my life and all.

But before going down, I immediately looked for a small purse to match my look and decided to just bring my phone and necessary stuff like a pepper spray perhaps.

Taehyung was waiting for me outside already beside his classy car and we shared awkward smiles with each other. Well, not so awkward. We didn't go just yet because he told me that we could at least chat a bit because we had a lot of time anyways. And I agreed.

A few moments of me and Taehyung talking about whatever topic we could think of to lessen the awkwardness between us which was somehow successful because we were talking normally just like before, Hanbin arrived from upstairs. Must've been busy with playing because he looked like an idiot who won a game or two with that victorious yet cocky grin on his face. And also, he never wins.

"Any plans today?" He asked. Most likely to me so I nodded. Then he faced Taehyung who didn't look nervous the slightest with Hanbin's serious gaze on him. "Ok then. But better return her here before 8:00. Enjoy, losers." He waved at us on the way to his room. Closing the door on the way.

"Let's go now?" Taehyung asked while opening the car door for me. I nodded and gave him a small thank you before making myself comfortable on my seat.

By the time Taehyung entered the car and started the engine of the car, I already knew that this was gonna be boring. No offense on that one. I was only stating a fact because this would be even more fun with songs jamming on the radio, us going crazy, and forgetting the lyrics in the process.

Just like how Jisoo does it but reality just had to tell me that Taehyung wasn't Jisoo and I should accept that. I shook my head an tried to focus on the person I should be focusing right now. Taehyung. But that was a mission impossible.

I released a sigh and looked at the outside view of trees and buildings and people.

Jisoo, I really wish that you could've been my date.

...

• A random question. The teaser photo today was really good and well, the positions of the girls were a bit disturbing for me. Jisoo was the only one sitting or well squatting on the floor while the other three were standing.

Does that mean Jisoo's a bottom? •
