Chapter 16

Jennie's POV

"Stop smiling at me like that, you dumbass." I sent a glare  towards Jisoo who was sitting on the shotgun seat.

"Can't I be happy?" She retorts making that smile of hers even bigger. I rolled my eyes and continued what I was doing which was looking outside the window. The others were silent as well and I'm absolutely satisfied.

"Where to Jisoo?" Jinyoung asked her and I silently groaned when I heard a bit of a flirty tone in his way of speaking.

Why is Jisoo so blind to not see that he actually likes her? This is one of the things I really get annoyed about her.

"Oh! To Jennie's villa. You can drop us in that corner." Jisoo pointed to the corner nearby.

I didn't notice we've gone that far into the jungle.

"Ok then." Jinyoung parked the car and Jisoo immediately got out to open the van door for me.

"Thanks."

"Bye fellas!" She waved goodbye to them and I did too. And so they left.

I looked at the dark streets of our beach and gulped. I tugged Jisoo's sleeve and she looks at me in question of what's wrong.

"You do know that my villa is still a kilometer away, right?"

"I know. I just wanted to be dropped here so that I could escape from Jinyoung's flirting exhibition." She says with a smile before taking my hand in hers. "And the way you stare at us might kill us too." I sent a glare at her and she only laughed.

"Stop it if you don't want your mouth to be bleeding in a second." I coldly told her and that made her flinch. This was the first time I've ever seen her scared and that's because of me. Hm... really interesting.

"Feisty. I love it." She wrapped her arm around my waist and I regained balance by holding onto her torso.

"I said-." I couldn't continue my words because her lips were already on mine. She really didn't want to wait for my permission.

I, of course, responded hungrily. I really love her lips. They're the best ones in the world.

She pulled away because if she didn't, I'd die of suffocation. She licked her lips telling me that she's up for another round. But I gave her a glare and that was enough to tell her that I don't want to.

"You really couldn't wait, huh?"

"Why wait? You liked it anyways." She smirked at me in a sort of mocking way. I sent her one last glare before walking further away from her. I heard her sweet laughter and I'd do anything for that laugh to last forever.

"Are you coming or what?" I turned around to be met by the lips of the other girl.

Does she never get enough? And why do I even let her do this?!

"Damn, I love you." She says after she kissed me softly. The very being of mine has been stunned by her words. She isn't kidding this time. Her eyes says it all.

"I..." I don't know what to say. She said it so suddenly.

She smiled at me with her perfect smile, she looked at me as if I was the only girl in the universe, and she touches me as if I was a the most precious treasure in the entire world.

She cupped my cheek and shook her head. "You can tell me what you really feel about me in another time. I know it's hard. I've been there."

She then intwines our hands and started walking towards my house. As we were nearing my villa, I halted my steps and so she did too.

"Anything wrong?" She asks.

"I-I... I just..." I was troubling with words and I don't know why. I just wanted to say that I had the same feelings for her but why does it have to be this hard. Jisoo was right this was a task meant for the brave. "Um... J-Jisoo..."

"Are you ok, Jen? You've been stuttering like crazy." She pouted worriedly while her eyes go up and down my body.

"I'm fine."

"No your not. If I was a guy, I should've believed that but as you can tell I'm also a girl like you Jennie Kim. So don't go saying 'I'm fine.' at me." She rambled and I smiled at her explanation.

"Alright alright. It's just that I can't say the correct words that I'm supposed to say." I replied. She nods at me then smiles.

"Great then! Let's get keep on walking now. It's just a few more steps away." She pointed to the showing roof of my villa.

"I wonder what the maknaes are doing." I hooked my arm in hers and she chuckled.

"Making out maybe." Jisoo replied and I immediately punched her shoulder.

"Are dirty thoughts the only thing inside your head?"

"No."

"Then what. May I ask?"

"You."

I held my breath when she responded. She really just had to answer me like that. I heaved a sigh and told her to shut up until we reached my glamorous villa.

"Lisa! Chaeyoung!" I called out but no one responded.

"They're here!" I heard Jisoo shout from the living room. I quickly got there and there were five people sitting in the couch and Jisoo was standing beside me. Two of the five were Lisa and Chaeyoung.

I couldn't utter a word when I saw who the other three were.

"Mom, Dad..." I trailed off then faced the other person. "K-Kai..."

As I called his name, he immediately smiled and walked towards me. But even before he could say anything to me, Jisoo pulled me by her side and glared towards Kai.

These two have a very good past with each other. Just great. Mind the sarcasm.

Kai was confused but he was still smiling at me and Jisoo.

"What are you doing here, Kim?" Kai asked. He feigned a smile towards Jisoo.

Jisoo though kept silent. The room was silent. My parents didn't bother speaking and so did the maknaes. The tension was high and I couldn't take it.

I took a deep breath to speak but even before I could do that, Jisoo kissed me passionately. I was shocked.
The others were shocked. But I saw Mom and Dad in my peripheral vision that they were smiling.

"I'm her girlfriend. Got a problem with that?" Jisoo replied right after she left me on a trance after the kiss.

Wait what? Girlfriend?!
