"Vibrant blue hair. Magic. Shy. Quiet. Respectful. Thomas, are you sure she is your daughter?" Logan quipped, observing the young girl who is currently on the couch talking to Peter Bane.

"Blood test came back positive." Thomas muttered. He still hasn't understood the fact that he has a daughter, let alone the fact that her and Peter know each other and are, in fact, dating. Thomas doubts he will ever truly believe it.

"Nature vs Nurture." Joan added, coming into the room. He crossed his arms and stared at the small girl that, even at the age of 17, is only 4'9 and weighs less then a hundred pounds. When Peter kissed her cheek with a smile, Thomas felt an odd since of anger and protective nature at the sight, even though Reign has only been in his care for about 3 hours now.

Reign's mother has sold her to the black market for drugs. There, she learned of her grandmother's blood of magic and ran away from her owner and learned her family secret. Peter saved her from a fire that she accidentally made one night and that's how they met. After a few years, the pair started to date and finally, Peter convinced Reign to find her birth father, which happened to be Thomas.

Peter and her have been studying chemistry currently, a subject that she is horrible at. For every question she got right, Peter would kiss her, which made her study even harder. Reign giggled as Peter pecked her neck, tickling a known sensitive spot on her neck found from the three years of dating. From the previous night, a dark bruise was shown, marked by Peter.

Thomas watched, his eyes grazing over the girl's hickeys, to her laughing smile, to Peter's playful smirking. Joan noticed Thomas's protective nature of his daughter and calmed his husband down with a hand on his shoulder. Thomas and Joan have been married for 4 years now, happily and without too many arguments. Joan was already protective of his daughter by marriage too, having to calm himself down as well.

Reign was suppose to start living at the Sanders house immediately. Peter is happy to have her living in the same tower as him. Although she is happy to be with Peter, who lives next door, Reign couldn't even fake a smile. She was too nervous about her fathers and the other sides. Reign hates getting attached to people because it almost always ends in heartbreak. She has been known to cry herself to sleep some nights after Peter went home from being sewn up by her after a mission. Peter is an assassin for the black market and that's how they truly met. He was suppose to kill her the day she set the fire, but instead fell in love with her. She hates the fact that she will most likely get attached to the others. She doubts that her heart can take the strain on seeing everyone she cares about hurt.

Peter always reassured her that he is fine and nothing is fetal, but she still worried. He understands as some of her spells and the fact that some people of the black market are looking for her keeps him up at night as well. He hopes that, with her living with the sides, she will be safer.

"Why don't we both introduce ourselves and get to know each other." Joan suggested. Thomas nodded with a sigh, taking his husbands hand and making their way over to the couple. Reign tensed as she saw the two adults come close to her, leaning into Peter subconsciously. She has only been introduced to Logan, who was the one that brought her in and generally stayed away from adults.

Peter noticed her frightened stance and wrapped his arms around her protectively.

"Hey kiddo." Thomas said gently. He read her file and know the basics of her past. "Studying for chemistry? I heard that's a tough class now a' days." Reign took in Thomas's gently approach with appreciation.

"I just don't get science. I'm use to magic and there being no logical way to explain the stuff I do." She explained hesitantly.

"I understand. Science was never a good subject for me either." Joan said, sitting down next to Thomas.

"That's because your an airhead." Thomas commented jokingly. Reign chuckled when Joan glared.

"Says the guy who had to-"

"Who is a YouTube famous person." Thomas joked. Joan slapped three back of Thomas's head lightly, grinning at his husbands childish behavior. Reign chuckled, seeing the resemblance between Thomas and Joan, and her and Peter. As Thomas looked back to his daughter, finally getting a good look at her.

She doesn't look that much like him, but she has Thomas's auburn eyes that look honey-red in the light. His pale skin, and his introverted nature. She was born before he realized he was gay. Reign bit her lip once she realized the sudden silence and the gaze Thomas was giving her. Peter noticed as well and easily picked her up and sat her on his lap, wrapping an arm around her waist.

She flinched when Thomas leaned closer, a sudden memory of her first owner flashing through her mind. It was years ago, she was 8 at the time, however the feeling of trusting any adult will never be fully with her after that. Thomas saw the slight flinch and felt guilty. He only knows a little bit of her past, knowing she was sold to an abusive owner, but he doesn't know how bad it is.

The sudden flinch caused accidental magic, making a popping sound near her and there stood another Reign. The true Reign gasped and stood up, walking up to the other one. The walked around each other, gazing over the other one. The accidental magic is always so tricky.

"Your me?" One Reign gasped. The other looked confused, glancing at Peter before looking back at the copy of herself.

"I'm you? Or are you me?" The one closer to Peter pointed. Both were visibly confused as they had each other's memories and truly didn't know which one was real, and which one was magical. Virgil came down the stairs, seeing the sight of two of his daughters made him walk right back up, pulling Roman, who was following Virgil, behind him.
