It was a school day. It was lunch and it was a nice day outside, so Virgil and I hung out in the park near our school. I was sitting on the ground, resting my back on a tree trunk doing my homework. Virgil was hidden in the tree, sitting on a low tree branch that was hidden by leaves. Groaning, I did another math problem.

"Having trouble?" Virgil chuckled. I looked up to meet his teasing grin.

"It's math, what do you expect?" He laughed and went back to playing around on his phone. I growled and threw a pencil at his head. He almost caught it, but it got stuck on one of the branches.

"Nice throw." He commented, staring at it.

"Nice catch." I retorted. He sighed and stood up on the branch, reaching for it. The wind blew slightly, making me shiver. He noticed and jumped down, taking his hoodie off and wrapping me up in it. I smiled and thanked him. He smirked and leaned down to kiss me but paused when he noticed something behind me. I turned around, confused. A group of students were talking and making their way over here. With farther inspection, I noticed a group of my ex's, who became friends after we broke up, having something suddenly in common: Me being their ex. I groaned and hid my face in Virgil's shoulder. He nuzzled my head with his cheek.

"Come on Starshine." He muttered in my ear. "I'll get your pencil then we can go somewhere else." I nodded and pulled away. He climbed back up the tree, hiding himself in the leaves. I bent down and started to gather my backpack up, putting my laptop and the rest of my homework in the bag.  I noticed a couple of shadows walk up behind me.

"Belle?" I heard behind me. I tensed and held in a groan, turning around to meet the stares of my ex's. There was Brian, Gabe, Josh, and Aaron. I sighed and turned back around, continuing to pack my stuff.

"Did you boys need something." I asked.

"We wanted to talk to you."

"About?"

"About us. We want you back." I snapped up and turned around. "We are willing to share you." Josh said, putting his hands in his pockets and shrugging.

"Share her? Like she is a toy for you guys to use?" Virgil's tone was sharp. He dropped from the branch and landed behind me. "Here is your pencil Love." He wrapped an arm around my torso and lightly kissed my cheek, placing the pencil in my left hand. I leaned into his touch. I turned around and put the pencil in my backpack, zipping it close before throwing it over my shoulder. Virgil's hoodie sleeves came down, hiding my hands since I'm extremely short. "Here Love, let me help. He rolled his sleeves up my arm, taking my hand and kissing it. I smiled.

"Thanks V." I sighed.

"Belle, who is this?" Brian spat, nodding his head at Virgil.

"I'm her boyfriend. Back off." Virgil hissed, wrapping his arms around me. I dropped my bag and leaned my back into his chest.

"Get out of here Emo, we had her first." Gabe growled.

"Rosabelle isn't a prize to be shared!" Virgil yelled. His grip tightened around my waist. I turned in his embrace.

"V' calm down. They don't matter anymore. It's you and me." I looked into his brown eyes. After a few moments of glaring at the others, he finally turned his gaze to me, his eyes softening.

"Of course, we matter." Josh scoffed. Virgil was about to look up when I placed my hands on his cheeks and kept his gaze to me. "Why don't we all share her? You would still be dating her, but we get her as well." Brian tried to compromise.

"No. She is mine. Leave." Virgil hissed.

"We aren't leaving." Josh tried to stand strong.

'Fine. Then watch the show." Virgil smirked. He leant down to kiss me slowly, giving me time to push him away if I needed. I met him halfway, pressing my lips to his. He moved one of his hands to my cheek, and the other one tangled itself in my hair, cradling my head. I looped my arms around his middle and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. The kiss was full of desperate love, almost like he was telling me to not say yes to the others. To keep him. I put as much love as I could into the kiss. I felt the desperate need he is showing lesson slightly.

I felt a small, slowly lick come to my lower lip. I let him in and gave him no fight. He explored my mouth, rubbing lightly at the sensitive top of my mouth, causing me to moan slightly. The kiss was slow, but full of passion. The hoodie fell down off my shoulders, exposing my back and revealing previous love bites and hickeys to everyone. After a while, Virgil pulled away, panting slightly. He smiled at me and pecked my lips. I felt their stares, but I didn't care. I just saw Virgil. He lowered his arms to my waist and pulled me close. I nuzzled my face into his chest, which is where I can reach since I'm so short and hugged him tighter.

"Never leave me." He whispered.

"You will always have me." I muttered into his chest. He kissed my head then returned his gaze to everyone else. I felt him stiffen slightly. I chuckled and pulled away, walking up to Brian. I smiled before lifting my fist up and punching him straight in the nose. He yelped and fell to the ground, holding his now bloody nose. The others gasped and kneeled down to him. I heard Virgil laugh, so I returned to his embrace.

"Nice punch." He complimented me.

"I know." I shrugged. The others, after getting Brian back on his feet, walked away shocked and slightly afraid of me. I heard a buzzing sound and noticed it was the alarm on my phone, letting me know the bell was about to ring for 4th hour.  I sighed. Virgil took my bag in his hand, and swung it over his shoulder, letting his free hand wrap around my shoulder. I curled up to him and together, we walked back inside the school.
