As a dragon, our temperature is very hot as a normal. My friends don't know what. Well, except Logan. He helps me control my abilities. The others were at lunch somewhere, so it was just me and Logan at the house. I had my leather jacket, black shorts and black halter top. My black tennis shoes and dark red stockings and a red choker. My bright red hair was pulled into a messy braid.  I was at their house when I Roman got back from a quest, wounded. I gasped and rushed to him. Logan got up as well.

"I'm okay." Roman lied.

"Your bleeding." Logan noted. "Help me get him to his bedroom." I nodded and gently swung an arm over my shoulder, sliding down to Roman's room. Roman grunted in pain as I sat him down on the bed. "Go get me a washcloth and some sewing tools." Logan commanded. I rushed to the bathroom and got the supplies, rushing back to the bedroom. I blushed heavily as I saw Roman shirtless, but I didn't let that stop me. I gave Logan the tools he needed. Roman had a large gash across his chest, many bruises and most likely a cracked rib. He was bleeding heavily on a cut on his cheek, bruises scattered his back and face as well.

"Jeez Ro. What happened to you?" I breathed.

"His skin is cold too touch. I'll fix him up, then you need to stay with him. Warm him up." Logan stated. I nodded.

"Go." Roman hissed softly as Logan touched a bruise.

"What?"

"You look like you're about faint. I know how you feel about blood. Logan can come get you after he helps. For now, go." Roman explained. I looked at Logan who nodded. I hesitantly walked away.

The reason why I didn't heal Roman is: Logan. He is scared that Roman won't accept me as a dragon. I think he will, but Logan is just looking out for me and I will respect that. I stayed on the couch, my leg bouncing up and down with worry. I heard muffled screams of pain and I almost burst into tears. After a while, it died down and Logan came downstairs.

"Be careful with him, but he needs heat." Logan said. I nodded and ran upstairs. I gently walked in to see Roman panted heavily, laying on his bed. His shirt was off, but the large gash was bandaged. He had stitches on his cheek and forehead, as well as on his arms. He was shivering, which must hurt to move. His hands are gripping the bed sheets, knuckles white. He was whimpering softly.

"Goodness Ro..." I whispered. I silently walked up to him and slowly got on the bed. Logan walked through the doorway.

"He may use you as a blanket or pillow, but Roman, you must be careful not to tear your stitches." Logan said gently. "Lay down." He commanded. I nodded and did what he said, laying down softly on the pillow. Roman, sensing my heat, instantly, but slowly sat up and got on top of me, laying his head on my chest and snuggling up to my heat. He sighed in contest as he got warmed up. I played with strands of his hair while rubbing gentle circles in the back of his neck.

"Will you be okay?" Logan asked.

"Yeah. We will." I nodded. Logan sighed.

"Call me back up if you need me." He walked out of the room, cracking the door shut.

"H-how are you so warm?" Roman asked me after a while.

"I just am hun."

"But-"

"Go to sleep Ro, you need it." I muttered, kissing his head. He sighed but did what I said. I eventually fell asleep too. Maybe one day I will tell Roman.
