POV: STELLAR

As soon as I walked through the door my mum broke down in a sobbing mess, she was so worried about me. I comforted her and told her I was fine, a mum from my school had brought me home. When she was ok I went upstairs to add to my book.

'Ocean was my soulmate, he was trying to protect me, I'm the reason he's gone. I shouldn't have done it. How could I be so selfish. Why did he have to die, it should have been me. He didn't need to jump in and save me. I chose my fate. He didn't deserve what happened. I shouldn't have swam that night, I should have stayed home, none of this would have happened, it's all my fault'

After I finished writing, I went to sleep. But soon I was awoken covered in cold sweat. I had a nightmare, there was no escape. Something was dragging me underwater. Maybe it was a mistake writing that chapter of my book. I went downstairs to get a cup of water and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night, it felt so vivid, so real. I finally saw the cracks of sunlight filtering through the small cracks inbetween my window and the blinds. I was glad the night was over. I waited a few hours, I spent the time aimlessly watching YouTube on my laptop. Then I got ready for school. When I got there, something felt off. I looked around the room and then I saw, Ocean? The boy from my book? How could this be. He had the same hair, same skin and I could never mistake those eyes for anyone else. Soon the teacher came in and introduced him to the class.

"Today we have a new student, please make Ocean feel welcome"

We all chimed welcome Ocean in unison, my mind was somewhere else that I didn't even notice him come and sit next to me.

" Hi I'm ocean" he stretched out his hand for me to shake

"Hello Ocean, I'm Stellar" I said back shaking his hand

"Do I know you from somewhere" he asked quizzically

" Probably not." I replied a little to quickly

"Ok then' he said before getting on with his work

Around 5 minutes later, Torin showed up. He walked over to the desk next to me and said to Ocean

"Get. Up. Now, that's my seat"

He complied, after all, Torin is 6"3 with huge guns, not the type that plays around.

He sat down next to me and winked. This day was just getting crazier by the minute.
