I woke up and Torin was still beside me. I snuggled into him and he held me close. Some time went by and I woke to hear murmuring voices. I made sure to keep still and quiet to hear what they were saying.

"I'm trying" Torin hissed

"Well TRY harder" another voice said

"Well it's not my fault I got put in hospital, I was trying" Torin said angrily

"Don't talk to me like that" the unknown voice growled

"Yes Jed" Torin said

He sounded remorseful, I can't believe he actually listened to someone. Wow.  I just lay in silence and felt Torin's body close to mine. I was completely relaxed. But there was something playing on my mind. Who is Jed? why is he here? And what does Torin have to do with him? I rolled over onto my back then turned my head to look into Torin's eyes they glistened in the bright hostpital lights

"Hey baby girl" he said smiling

Baby girl! My heart melted

"Hey" i said rolling on top of him and planting a kiss in the crook of his neck being careful not to knock his collarbone.  His strong arms embraced me and I felt so loved and safe. Just then my mum came in and saw me on top of him.

"Is this what you have been hiding from me, is this why you keep pushing me away" She said, tears welling in her eyes

" No, mum it's not what it looks l-" she cut me off

"It's okay Stellar you don't have to lie to me, I just thought that...." She sighed

"Mum, I'm not lying!" I said crying now

"I just thought we'd be in this together, a team forever, my girl is growing up. As a parent that hurts a bit" she walked over to the bed, I rolled off Torin and tried to stand up, my head was spinning but I kept on pushing, I got up and threw my arms around my mum.

"I love you." I said "I just can't tell you everything right now"

She nodded " I love you too, just know you can come to me for anything" she said and smiled through tears.

Then she looked at Torin. "Take care of my girl" mum said

"Always and forever" Torin said and winked at me

He got up and put his arms around my waist. He pulled me close and looked into my eyes. "Always and forever" he repeated leaning down and kissing me, he poured his heart into that kiss and he meant every second of it. He pulled away and as soon as he did I longed for his lips again.

"Let's go" he whispered into my ear. He took my hand and walked me down the hall. He signed me out of the hospital and we walked out the door. I waved to my mum on the way out and she waved back. Soon Torin and I were walking into the dimly lit streets. It was a beautiful sunset and his hand was warm against mine. Could this get any more perfect.
