POV: STELLAR

I couldn't believe that Torin just winked at me. I felt the butterflies dancing in my stomach.

"Who does that punk think he is" Torin muttered under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear.

" His name is Ocean" I whispered back

" Why is he here" Torin said as anger flickered in his eyes

" I don't know but I think he..."

I was cut off by the teacher " Miss Murphy and Mr Carter! Detention with the principal at lunch!"

"Yes Mrs Anderson" I answered embarrassed

" No thanks" Torin said, emotionless. Then he got up and walked out.

Detention was hell. It was boring and I couldn't write any of my book like I usually did at lunchtime. Thank god after what felt like hours the principal dismissed me. I walked out of his office and down the hallway to my locker. There I saw Ocean he walked over to me and took my hand in his.

" I missed you." He said

" I'm sorry I don't know you, we just met today" I replied wriggling my hand out of his grasp

" Don't be stupid with me Stellar" he snapped.

I tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

" Stop, I'm already late for my next class" my words trembling and hands shaking

"Are you scared of me!" His voice boomed and I heard it echo down the hall

"Let me go" I screamed, running down the hall.

He chased after me, when I reached the car park outside of the school I saw Torin leaning against his bike smoking a cigarette.

"Help me" I said running into his arms

"Woah there little lady" he said "what happened"

That's when Ocean burst out of the door, his face was furious. When he saw me with Torin wrapped in a tight embrace. It made him angrier. He stopped running but walked over with power in his step. Torin let go of me and walked up to Ocean. Torin's huge figure loomed over Ocean's small build. Ocean wasn't scared though. He was anything but scared. He threw a punch at Torin, making him stumble back in confusion. Torin regained his stance and didn't hesitate to punch back. This sent ocean flying and hitting a trash can with his back. He got up, with blood dripping from his lip and rage bursting out of the seams. He staggered over to Torin and uppercut him. For a small guy Ocean definitely packs a punch. Torin fell to the ground. His head hit the gravel with a loud *smack* as the blood started to drop from the back of his head. I tried to run inside to tell the teacher and call the police, because I had smashed my phone 2 weeks ago and it didn't work. But Ocean grabbed my collar and pulled me back.

"Be quiet and cooperative" he said "that way nobody else gets hurt" he took my arm and dragged me away from Torin. I tried to run, I tried to scream. But Ocean's hand remained tightly clasped over my mouth. I was helpless and Torin was dying. This couldn't get any worse.
