Chapter 6

Camila's POV

"Hey" I say to Aiden as I hop into his silver BMW.

"Hi" he smiles.

I look behind to the back seats, "Where's Kyle?" I ask.

"At home, we're going to pick him up"

"How is he?" I ask while he pulls out of the parking lot.

"He's good, I've been staying there a lot..for him"

"Does he mind me coming to the park?"

"I hope not" he laughs.

"You didn't tell him?"

He shakes his head with a nervous chuckle.

I hope he likes me.

"Hey, so as you know my birthday is in a few week, I'm having a party at my apartment if you'd like to come? You can bring who you like"

"Of course I'll be there, have you asked Julia?"

"Yeah, I asked her yesterday..she's bringing your brother" he glances towards me sounding uneasy.

"Yeah I could've guessed that" I let out a soft laugh.

"You knew?" He says in shock.

"Yeah, it was obvious"

"Really! I didn't have a clue, doesn't it bother you?"

"No" I shrug, "As long as he doesn't hurt her"

"It would bother me"

"Why?"

"Because it's weird having a friend date a sibling especially a friend you're really close too" he continues to glance between me and the road.

It's not weird..

"It's not weird" I repeat out loud.

I'm being defensive because I'm with Ace and he's more than close to Ash.

He pulls onto a road with big houses, left to right. This is a nice neighbourhood, imagine living in a big house with a huge back garden, a driveway packed with expensive cars. Having a happy family with a dog..

If only.

He turns left up a driveway and puts the car in park beside a jeep.

"You live here" my eyes widen.

"My parents live here" he smiles and gets out the car.

I hop out the car following him, "You're rich" my eyes still wide.

"No, my parents are" he cackles.

He opens the door and gestures for me to follow, a little boy is sitting at the bottom of the staircase staring at us, this must be Kyle.

His hair is black like Aiden's, he looks a lot Aiden, only difference is Kyle has an Afro.

"Hey buddy" Aiden kneels down to him.

"Aiden!" A woman's voice shouts as I hear loud clipping of heels. Kyle places his head on his knees and covers his ears. Aiden rubs his back.

"Hi mum, this is Camila" he introduces me, looking annoyed.

"Hello Camila..." she reaches to shake my hand, "Are you going to the park with Aiden and Kyle?"

"No!" Kyle shouts avoiding eye contact from everyone.

"Kyle.."  Aiden cuts her off.

"Come on, we'll have fun" Aiden tells him.

"I don't like her!" He voices.
