Chapter 48

Camila's POV

After changing into clothes, fixing my hair and spraying loads of perfume on, I head down stairs to check if dinner is ready.

It smells delicious.

I can't stop thinking about Ace, everyone hates us being together but I know deep down it won't affect us, we love hard enough to not care who doesn't want us being together, we've been through to much to give up now.

"Hi Grams" I swing my arm around her shoulder, Ace defiantly cheered me up even though my thighs hurt but I could keep going for hours with him, or even just lay in bed naked talking all night and eating junk food.

"Hi happy birdie" She smiles.

"What's for dinner?" I ask.

"Something new your mum made, chicken curry?" She says unsure.

"Hmm, yum" I sarcastically say, while walking into the dining room.

My Gramps comes behind giving his loving wife a kiss on the cheek before sitting down, I sit down wondering where Asher is.

"Where's Asher?" I ask him.

"Upstairs I think" Gramps says.

I few moments later he walks in taking the seat across from me, it looks as if he's been sleeping or just really tired, or even stoned. He glances around the table probably wondering where Ace is.

Grams and mum hands out the plates before taking their seats around the table, i desperately want to know who told her. I don't know why I didn't ask her before, I just wanted to get out the conversation.

Mum looks around the table too but doesn't say a word or question where Ace is.

"Hey Mum?" I say before shoving rice into my mouth.

"Yes sweetie?"

I look around the table before asking, "Who told you about Ace?" I confidently say.

She sighs, "It was one of your friends and I'm glad they did"

"Which friend?" the only one that comes to mind is Julia but she doesn't even know those things, I haven't really told anyone.

"The handsome boy with the charming smile and wonderful manners"

Huh?

"Aiden?" I ask, he's the only male friend I have except from Xbox friends.

"I think so, I don't remember his name"

That doesn't make sense? How could he tell her when i didn't tell him.

"Whoever he is, I'm glad he told me"

"What was he doing here?"

She sighs, "Dropping something off for Asher"

I look Asher's way and his eyes meet mine, "What was he dropping off? Drugs?" I remark.

"No, Jules left me something and didn't want to give it to me face to face"

"Why didn't she ask me to give it to you?"

He huffs, "I don't know Camila, what's with the twenty-one question?"
