Chapter 31

Ace's POV

I left an hour ago and I'm currently on the road to ma's because the first thing in the morning Brad and I are gone.

Asher came home wasted, Camila and I spent most of our time trying to get him sober and to sleep, he kept going on about how Julia has ruined him and he'll never be the same, Camila and I finally got a few hours alone. I left an hour later than I was suppose to.

We talked and talked and then argued, she didn't cry when I left which I'm glad otherwise I would've stayed. I know it's stupid leaving the girl I love when she's going through a hard time but I don't want Brad going out on his own again not after what happened last time, Ma was a mess and I don't want to see that again. I also can't lose anymore family.

Camila has her mother, Ash and Julia, she still has me always will no matter the distance and she's right she is strong, the strongest woman I've ever met and defiantly stronger than I am.

Before I left I lifted her up off her feet holding her tight, she leaned in initiating the kiss and when she slide her tongue into my mouth my body immediately began to heat up from her touch, until her crying in pain flashed through my mind and I pulled away quickly.

I wish it wasn't on my mind when I'm with her but it is, I wish I fucking killed him and not just beat him to pulp and turned him in.

My phone rang on the passengers seat and I glance down quickly before looking back at the road ahead, I reach over answering and putting it on loud speaker.

"Hi" her angelic voice speaks, hearing her voice makes me want to turn around and go back to her.

"Hey"

"I uhm..." silence slices through the phone before she speaks again, "We need...bread" I hear a light smack through the phone. "I don't know why I said that"

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah" she huffs.

"What's wrong, baby?" I say from habit.

"Uhm..." she lightly giggles, "I just miss you already" she admits.

"I miss you too"

"You can call me tomorrow morning if you'd like?" I know she's trying to act nonchalant.

"Do you want me to?"

"If you aren't busy, you know...before you leave"

"Yeah, i'll call" I smile.

"Promise"

"Promise"

"Are you still driving?"

"Yeah, I'm like half an hour away"

"Okay, I'll let you drive safe"

"Okay, Cam?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you"

"I love you" She replies before hanging up.

When I arrive at Ma's she sitting on the couch watching some programme she's been currently watching.

"Hi!" She chirps.

"Hey Ma" I drop my bag and sit on the couch beside her. "What's happening?" I point to the tv.

"She's sleeping with her sisters husband and he killed their father but none of them know yet"

"Well then" I raise my brows, "Seems like shit" I chuckle.

"If you haven't eaten there is some left over Chinese"
