"lets go home" I whisper closing my eyes as he holds my head close to his, his thumb swiping back and forth at the back of my head.
It's been around ten minutes since we last spoke, we've been laying here enjoying each others company. Ace has been quiet but I think he's maybe tired from our eventful day.
"Okay, I'll take you back to your mums" he clears his throat.
"No Ace, I want to go home" I open my eyes.
He opens his eyes looking back into mine, "Okay, we'll leave tomorrow" I nod closing my eyes again, he pulls my face closer to him and softly touches his lips with mine.
I'm not really sure about staying here because of his mother wanting the same thing as my mother but I guess I could just stay in the room.
His phone rings and I jump unaware I was falling asleep, he grabs his phone answering it and putting it to his ear, lazily.
"Yeah she's here" he says with his eyes still closed, I'm guessing it's Asher, mum must have hounded him to find out where I am.
He puts his phone back down after hanging up, "You hungry?" He asks.
"Yeah" I ate one mouthful of rice before it all kicked off, I can feel my stomach empty like it's eating itself.
"Me too" he sits up opening his eyes and running his hands through his messy hair. He picks his phone up and glances my way, "What do you want?" He asks.
I shrug, "Taco Bell, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's?" He suggests.
"Taco Bell" I say and sit up.
"Do you want to just go out and get it, we'll go for a drive instead of sitting in"
I nod and smile, we both put our shoes on and walk downstairs hand in hand. "Hi Cam" Lillian smiles my way walking out the living room.
"Hi" I say and look towards the ground feeling uneasy.
"We're going out to eat so don't wait up" Ace scowls her way.
"Okay, drive safe" she stands with a sorrowful smile.
Ace practically drags me out the door and opens the truck door for me, i fasten my seatbelt as he walks around and hops into the driver seat.
We drive with the radio on low volume, his hand holds my thigh like he normal does, which i love. He's been awfully quiet and I don't know if his mother had the same talk my mother did with me, I hope not and if she did I hope he isn't rethinking us because of what they think.
When we finally arrive at Taco Bell he reverses into a parking spot and puts his car into park, "We not going through the drive thru?"
