After chopping the greens, Michelle went to the kitchen to wash her hands and then she headed for her uncle's room to see him. In the hallway before his room she was hearing loud laughter which sounded like her uncle's. Curious she opened the door to a little creak and peeped in to see the reason why her uncle was laughing so loudly and the she saw her nephew George, opening the door well enough for herself to get inside she stood at the door way and almost immediately George ran to give her a big hug. Her uncle had stopped laughing and was now smiling at his grandson and niece.
"George, George, George of the jungle" George smiled at his aunt, Michelle always sang that line from the movie 'George of the jungle' whenever she saw her cousin's son. George who obviously enjoyed being called that name smiled and said
"good afternoon auntie mimi"
"How are you George?"
"Fine" he replied smiling brightly
"now let's go to grandpa so you both can tell me what's making him laugh"
Michelle said holding George small hands as they walked to where he uncle was standing beside his small desk he uses as his work area in his room, she went over and hugged him and greeted him then she turned to George she then asked"George what is so funny that made your grandpa laugh?" he smiled and said
"nothing auntie" she then turned to her uncle and asked
"uncle bode what made you laugh like that?"
"Michelle, George was telling me something"
her uncle said and then she turned to George and asked
"what were you telling your grandpa?" he answered immediately
"nothing auntie"
then she bent down and started tickling him saying "tell me now George,"he was laughing so hard and finally shouted "Fine!",
"I was telling grampa about my teacher who sleeps in the class and makes funny noises like this" George said and began imitating a snore.
Michelle then scolded playfully "George! you naughty six year old"
"no, auntie, I was only telling grampa what I saw" he said and ran out of the room. Michelle and her uncle laughed at him.
"Michelle how are you?" her uncle smiled adoringly at her
"fine uncle" she replied, "and how is work?, I heard you've been assigned a new mission" he said and she replied
"Yes uncle which you're not supposed to know about" she smiled at him, he smiled back and said
"the walls has ears", then she put up a thinking expression and said
"then I'll have to do something about those ears" they both laughed and went out of the room.
Michelle has a closer relationship to her uncle and his family than she has with her dad. Her uncle walked over to where his wife was standing while Michelle went back to the kitchen.
"ouch"
Michelle said in a low voice as someone who was whining bumped into her. She looked down at the person and saw it was Susan's daughter Leah who was wearing an annoyed expression on her face.
Leah looked up to see her aunt and smiled a little then Michelle asked
"Leah, who made you angry and whiny?".
Leah answered immediately "it's my mommy, she refused to leave me alone, I've been going around the house since this morning, from one errand to another"
