While driving, to ease the tension in the car and to clear the uncomfortable silence she turned on the radio and tuned in to the news station. On the news it was just the usual attack by herd men and then weather, they began to play some songs.

James watched as she drove skillfully on the road till she got to a beautiful street where each houses were built in one's with gates in front. 'welcome to paradise read the sign post in front of the hotel. She brought the car to a halt and alighted with ease out of the car and waited for him to do the same while she opened the truck and brought out his luggage.

"I'll get someone to carry your luggages in"

she told him and walked into the building, while she was going back to meet him with a male staff she saw him walk in with his luggages. Turning back to the hotel staff she said

"Don't worry you can back to work".

"I told you I was going to call someone to help with that" she said annoyed.

"and I didn't tell you I need help with the luggages and something told me I'd have to wait like I've been doing all day " he replied.

Not replying what he said, and she started walking to the hotel lobby furiously motioning for him to follow .

The hotel lobby though mildly decorated was oozing taste and money. It was decorated with an expensive brass vases, the walls were painted cream, on the wall beautiful paintings were hung.

The receptionist desk was a high barrister table which had a desktop computer on it.

A plump beautiful young girl of about 19 stood in front of the desktop and on the wall behind her was the picture of the  president and governor. James muttered loud enough for the two ladies to hear him.

"I guess I would be seeing this pictures throughout my stay here" .

The receptionist smiled and greeted him in a fluent English language without a trace of an accent. Michelle asked her for the card to a room — he thought she must come here very well since the girl seemed at ease with her.

After collecting the card she lead the way to the elevator, Michelle walked into the elevator followed by James and the stood separately before two other men came to join them. The hotel room given to James was on the fourth floor.

The men who seemed to be friends were whispering things to each other and starring at Michelle, James looked at them with irritation while Michelle did not even bother sparing them a glance.

"The weather is so hot today" one of the men spoke up in an attempt to gain Michelle's attention, she just looked at him and turned her attention back to her phone, this simple act made James smile.

Obviously not getting the fact that she did not want to talk he continued
" I can't begin to imagine how you are comfortable in that suit"

she then smiled politely at him so as not to be rude. He then used that as an opportunity to continue talking to her.

"But you look good in it anyway, by the way I'm Aron".

          'ding' !

the elevator door opened and she said "bye" without bothering to tell them her name, she walked away with James trailing behind. Scanning the rooms with her eyes she whispered to her self in triumph

"ha room 39".

She opened the door and they both stepped into the room. The room was big with a flat screen TV, a beautiful glass coffee table at the end of the room where a couch was located giving a view of the outside of the hotel through the window, a small lamp was on a table beside the bed which rested on the beautifully painted wall. On the other side there was a door which would be the bathroom, the other side of the bed there was a small freezer. The room was beautiful.

" now that everything is settled Mr Ford, I would be off now, I have to get back to some other things".

He said under his breath but loud enough for her to hear him.

"other things that made you late" he then said

"I see you don't need anything again but if you do you should give me a call". She turned around and started for the door when he said.

"wait". She turned around to look at him, he then said.

"How do you expect me to call you when I don't have your phone number". He saw her tilt her head up and part her lips slightly then he saw the look of realization she then said.

"I'm sorry I'll give you now"

Michelle pulled out a card from one of the pocket in her suit, she then handed the card to James. She asked if he needed anything else while he was staring at the card then he shook his head, she then left the room. She walked away from the room finally relived that she could call it a day, finishing of her work for the day and finally getting away from James who she doesn't seem to get along with.

When she got to the hotel lobby she told the receptionist present there to send a food  menu to James's room and to also offer to show him around tomorrow. With all the instructions given to ensure his comfort she left the hotel.
