perfect strangers

       After taking a shower and changing from her suit to a PJ, she wore a satin bonnet to keep her hair from getting ruined with her turning while asleep.
      The party went well and she met some other relatives of theirs after a long time. Thinking back about her day and how nervous she was to face James at first then he made it easier for her by being a jerk.

        She did not ruin anything this time and that was great, good starts often lead to a positive end so she looked forward to getting this mission solved and silently praying that she and James get along because what good was it if the partners who were supposed to complete this mission were on missions to make each others life miserable. With all these thoughts in her head, she fell asleep.

        Birds were chirping outside musically while the sun shone through her curtains. The songs of this birds every morning was the best part about her mornings and the rays of the beautiful sun on a picture of her mom and dad holding little Michelle as they smiled at each other happily – a family people would be jealous of if only it still existed.

     Pulling her self from the bed and glancing at the clock, it was 7 o clock and she had to visit a colleague of hers who was in the hospital and she wanted to surprise Michael with a visit from her so as to reduce his complains about rearly ever seeing her.
     Quickly taking a shower she put on a distressed jean trouser and a T-shirt, she then went to the kitchen to make something to eat, finishing her toast and a cup of tea she slipped her feet into a sandal placing her phone, air pod and sunglasses into a mini bag she shut her door . The sun was high up in the sky and one could already feel the warmth on their skin, she got into her car ready to begin her appointments for the day.
  
     Parking at the hospital parking lot, she got out observing the neatly kept surroundings and staring at patient who were taking a walk and some who were being wheeled around, she walked into the hospital reception going straight to the nurses station.

  "Hello, good morning ma I would like to see Mr chukwuma Obi he was brought in yesterday" Michelle said to a Stern looking old woman wearing a nurses uniform

   "Are you a family member?" She asked peering michelle through the rim of her glasses while trying to decipher something in a big file Michelle thought might contain patient information.

  "No madam I'm his colleague"

"Then you'd have to wait because it is not visiting hour yet, it starts at twelve" she said closing the file and focusing on Michelle.

"It's 11:49 ma" Michelle said briefly glancing at her

   "Yes I can see but a rule is a rule, be back by twelve or you can wait in the waiting area till twelve" The nurse said pointing at an array of seat for visitors to wait.
    Michelle nodded stiffly and decided to take a walk to the hospital gate and get some fruit for him instead of sitting in the hospital for those few minutes.

      She went back in after buying a small basket of fruits outside the hospital, instead of the old nurse a younger one was at the nurses station.
  
  "Hi I'm a colleague of Mr chukwuma Obi and I'd like to see him" Michelle said to the new nurse who must have just began her shift

   "Ok go straight, take the stairs, there are two sections go to the left that is the male ward, he is in room 3"

  " Thank you" Michelle said smiling at the nurse who smiled back in return.

    Taking the stairs and following the directions the nurse gave she knocked and peered into the room, chukwuma smiling up at her. A song was playing on his phone, his legs hanging up in a cast and another cast on his arm connecting to his shoulders and a  small bandage at the side of his head with some scratches on his cheeks. On a table beside him she saw different things from a large bottle of water, drug packets, beverages for tea and some get well soon cards.
