Everyone was startled at the bunny's screams. Shadow clapped her paws over her ears before rushing to the source of the commotion. The tiger swung the door open and pulled out something from her side pocket. The others were following close behind, but the tiger already had it covered. She swiftly did a barrel roll across the room, and used the object that she had, which was a taser. Her aim was perfectly on target, making her successfully shock the intruder.
The intruder cried out in agony, but they sounded more like two voices screaming at once. One was deep and raspy, while the other one was higher pitched and more friendly sounding. With the intruder now immobilized, Shadow and the others got a good look at who this intruder was.
Cuddles was luckily unharmed aside from a few scratches. As he sat up, the bunny got head-butted by Handy. The fact that he was wearing a hard hat made the impact even more painful then it would normally be.
"If I had hands, I'd smack you so hard that your brainless head would fly off your body!!" The beaver scolded. Cuddles looked at the floor in shame while Handy gave him a 'that's what I thought' face.
"Are you alright, Shadow?" Bella asked as she made it to the tiger. "Yeah, I'm fine." She replied, still aiming the taser at the intruder. She began to approach the intruder, who growled at her.
"I'll never join you! If you're planning to kill me, go ahead!" The deep voice hissed. "You're not gonna hurt us, a-are you?" The higher pitched voice added. The intruder was a green bear wearing a camo outfit with dog tags and a green beret. His right eye looked normal, but the left one had a musty yellow iris and was a lot more menacing than the other one. Shadow began to lean over as the bear was struggling to move. He growled before flinching as the tiger rubbed his shoulder gently in a comforting manner.
(Yes I edited this so people will get it lol)
"Incredible..." Russell gasped in amazement at Shadow's efforts, with an equally amazed Mime nodding in agreement. "She really is, amazing." Petunia added.
"You're... sparing us?" The deep voice asked in disbelief and confusion. Shadow helped the bear up and sat him down on the bed, allowing him to take it easy. "You say that they're two of you in the same body, correct?" Shadow asked as she sat down next to him.
"No, he's just insane!" Handy butted in. "I'm not insane!" The higher pitched voice clapped back. "It's different..."
"So, who are you?" Shadow asked the higher pitched voice.
"Flippy." The voice replied. "The other one's Fliqpy. He's the 'flipped' version of me, no pun intended." He added.
"Hold up, how come both of you are present right now? Usually it's one or the other." Russell asked the two.
"Honestly, I'm not fully sure myself." Fliqpy spat.
"I was running from something, but it bit me. At that point, I thought I was gonna flip, but then this happened..." Flippy added.
"It's very hard to describe!" He complained before letting out a sigh from stress
"That does sound supernatural, but I bet that whatever is behind this must have some kind of ability, like how every citizen in this town is immortal for unknown reasons." Luna said while taking notes on her writing pad.
"Should we really let him stay?" Handy asked suddenly, earning everyone's attention. "What do you mean?" Petunia asked.
"I mean, how many times has this guy killed us? Huh? If we have to deal with two more problems, I'm clocking out!" The beaver replied with a slightly louder voice, as he turned his back to the rest of the group.
"Wow." Fliqpy growled, sounding pissed as ever. Mime pulled out a spray bottle from his pocket and squirted the beaver in the face.
"Dude, what's your problem?!" Handy scolded the deer who was glaring at him for his insults. "Hold on, isn't that my cleaning spray?" Petunia suddenly asked, causing everyone to turn their heads to her.
"Your what?" Erika asked in disbelief. Before anyone could do anything, Handy suddenly screamed as he ran out of the room.
"MY EYES!!! I'M GOING BLIND!! IT BURNS SO BAD!! MAKE IT STOP—!!"
Sunny, Mime, and Petunia rushed out to help, but it was too late. Their beaver friend lay face down, and lifeless on the floor. When Sunny flipped him over, she fell back in shock. His whole face was melted off to the point where the eyes ceased to exist, and the entire front of the skull was exposed.
"WHAT THE FRICK WAS IN THAT SPRAY!!?" Sunny screamed out of shock.
"Ooh, I like to have everything perfectly clean, so there's some vinegar, bleach, acid, chlorine, and some other chemicals that are pretty toxic..." The skunk replied, counting the dangerous ingredients with her fingers. Mime looked sad, and proceeded to sit in an "invisible chair".
"Hey, you didn't know that was her cleaning spray, which is actually more like a death potion. Don't sweat about it, he'll be back, right?" Sunny told the deer in a soft tone different from her normal enthusiastic and energetic voice. Mime sighed, but no sound came out. The deer turned his head away as he rested it on his hand. It looked pretty convincing that the deer was actually sitting in a chair, despite Sunny not feeling anything when she tried to find any kind of surface around him. She was convinced that Mime was levitating.
"OOOH!! You got a camera!!?" Erika suddenly screamed out of excitement from the guest room, causing Sunny and Petunia to rush back in, where they found Shadow covering her ears again.
"Oh! Sorry, Shadow! I sometimes forget how sensitive your ears are." Erika apologized a little quieter once the tiger removed her paws from her ears. The green bear was holding up a digital camera that had a few scratches on it, and the front lens was cracked. However, since he had it in his left hand, Fliqpy was presumably holding it.
"Surprised you haven't killed anyone yet." Petunia said to Fliqpy as she got closer. "I haven't done so because it's unnecessary right now, and if I wanted to, this little crybaby would stop me." He replied, followed by Flippy flicking him in the face with his right hand.
"So, you guys only have control over one arm each?" Luna asked, noticing their physical interactions. Flippy nodded in response. "Apparently, but we can still control the rest of our body." He answered.
"What about that camera right there?" Sunny asked while pointing to the digital camera. "Oh, this?" Fliqpy held out the camera a little further for everyone to get a better look. "While running, we just happened to find this." He added. Bella took hold of the camera and closely examined it.
"There might be something recorded on this." She said before pulling out her laptop, which had a pink cover on it. She then pulled a small cord from her laptop case, and plugged it into the camera, before connecting it to her computer. She went to work for a bit, before waiting for about thirty seconds.
"There." She finished. She placed her laptop on the bed where everyone got a good look at what was going on. Bella managed to upload the footage from the camera and make a digital copy of it, allowing it to be viewable. Bella took a closer look at the camera itself, and confirmed that it was damaged beyond repair, but the video file was safe.
"This looks pretty interesting." Luna said as she examined the camera. "A model such as this one first came out somewhere in 2005."
The file itself didn't have any kind of special name, just a random set of letters and numbers, as to be expected with an old video file.
"Right, let's see what this has to offer. We might get more information about what's going on around here." Bella finally said, before moving the curser to the video file, and clicking the play button. The video turned out to be a bunch of videos combined together like a documentary.
The only thing to do now, is see what these videos contain, and if the information provided will help the fog clear from this mystery one was or another...
