Cuddles suddenly snapped back into consciousness when the salty sea water got in his nose. The yellow rabbit sneezed and coughed from the abrupt wake up call.

"Oh, so you're not dead after all." Erika said as she bent down to the bunny's view. "So what, you dump water on me?" Cuddles complained as he sat up. "Pretty much." Handy answered as he had the last bit of water shaken out of his hard hat. "You should've seen Sunny, we had to throw her in the water." He added with a smirk.

"You guys scared the living crap out of me, I thought I was drowning for a sec!" Sunny shouted back, still soaking wet. "Though, we did want to wait for you to wake up before—"

"Before what!? Is that snake still alive!? Is it behind me!?" Cuddles began to panic.

Someone began to reply. "The snake's—"

"Obliterated!!" Erika blurted out in triumph.

"The— ...What?" Cuddles got up and looked around, seeing no sign of the creature. He smiled, and was about to sigh in relief, but instead crouched back down in the sand, covering the back of his head with his hands.

"H-Hey man! What's the matter!?" Sunny asked anxiously. "It's gonna happen, I know it!" The bunny replied fearfully. "Whenever we think it's all over, it's not, and we die!"

"Stop making yourself look like an idiot, that thing's been reduced to atoms!" Handy forced the bunny up with a firm head-butt.

"They're gonna wake up any minute now, y'know?" Petunia added.

"They?"

Cuddles looked out to the water, where he saw that all the citizens were back, now lying unconscious in the shallow water or the edge of the sand. Soon enough, they started showing signs of regaining consciousness.

*Brrrr*

The orca pod came over to the shore, where Russell walked through the shallow waters over to them.

"Thanks guys."

One orca came up and nuzzled Russell as if they were giving him a hug. The orcas all moved back, before slapping their tails on the water enthusiastically, where Russell replied by slapping his own tail on the water. The otter waved the orcas goodbye as they soon swam off in the distance, before fully disappearing underneath the endless waves.

"Hey! That's my hat!!" A green raccoon rushed up to Erika, demanding his accessory back.

"Alright, alright! Sheesh!" Erika tried calming the raccoon down as she handed back his hat.

"Thanks, I guess... I'm Shifty." The raccoon said with a hint of embarrassment in his voice.

"Erika." She replied with a welcoming smile.

Sniffles was running so fast he almost tripped, before throwing his arms around a lime coloured squirrel.

"Welcome back, Nutty."

The squirrel started tearing up before tightly embracing his friend back.

"I-It was so dark! A-And scary!! I MISSED YOUHOOHOO!!!" Nutty began crying hysterically as he tried to sound happy.

A light blue moose sat up, still lightheaded. He looked around, confused of what just happened.

"LUMPY!!"

Before the moose could have a second thought, Russell leaped into his arms with pure joy on his face.

"Hey hey hey! How's my little buddy doin'!?" Lumpy responded with the same happiness as he swung his friend around playfully.

Cuddles and Toothy were both in tears, locked in embrace.

"I-I'm so sorry!" The purple beaver sobbed. "I-I didn't mean to, leave you behind like that!"

"Ha! Who knew a pipsqueak like you could actually pull that off!" Fliqpy complimented Flippy while giving him a noogie. "We got a ton of explaining to do now that we're separated." Flippy added. Fliqpy looked around and saw multiple people looking stunned and confused in their direction. "For once, kid, I actually agree with you."

Multiple other people, including Mole, and Splendid, were getting up and being reunited with their friends, and frenemies.

"I'm definitely still drunk, right?"

"Ah crap, I was starting to enjoy that."

"C'mon Splendont, rivals can get along y'know?"

"Whatever, but this doesn't mean we're friends!"

*Ugly crying*

"Dad! Dad! We're back!"

"We sure are, son!"
"Glorious! The sky's never been so beautiful to see!"

"I-I'm just going to lay here and cry!"

"Whoohoo! Best friends forever!!"

Shadow and the other agents watched happily, before Flippy rushed up and hugged the tiger.

"Thank you..." He uttered, sounding like he was about to cry.

He let go of the embrace, shortly after noticing the tiger's discomfort.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, it's just... how can we repay your courage, and kindness?" He apologized.

"You don't need to feel bad. Gratitude is what I love." Shadow replied with a smile.

"Yeah, but we should do something." Russell added as he approached them with Lumpy.

"Like what?" Bella asked.

The animals thought for a moment, before someone got an idea.

"I got a suggestion!" A red porcupine named Flaky spoke up.

"Shoot." A boar named Truffles ordered.

"W-Well... I was thinking..."
