The first video began with the camera laying on it's side, as an annoyed groan was heard off screen.
"Darn stand."
A voice grunted as the camera was picked up, supposedly putting the stand back in place. A pale blue hand is seen in the corner adjusting the camera until it focused on a red armchair that looked quite comfortable. A pale blue anteater with glasses came into the camera's view as he sat on the chair, and gave the camera a friendly smile.
"Hello there. It's January twenty-sixth as of recording right now..."
The anteater said as he adjusted his navy blue glasses.
"I'm sure most people already know me, but for those that don't, I'm Sniffles." He added. "I know, we all have interesting names here."
"I actually found this camera while cleaning up a bit, I can't remember when I last used it..." He continued.
The video went on with Sniffles explaining the disappearances that have been suddenly happening all over town. The anteater claimed that he was doing research on the subject, and showed that he was taking notes whenever he seized the opportunity, before ending the video when he hears a knock at the door.
The next few videos are very similar, Sniffles is documenting the events as they unfold, and judging from the date log in the corner of the videos, this all happened in two weeks. In one video, Sniffles was even seen interviewing other citizens, some of which have already disappeared as of now. With each interview, he would ask the citizen the following questions:
"How do you think this all started?"
"Who was the last person you saw, and when?"
"How are you prepared for an event like this?"
Some responses that Sniffles got were:
"I bet that moose was the cause of it, he's the one making the stupid mistakes all he time."
"T-The last person? Uh... well... I-I did see that mole a couple hours ago..."
"Hah! Me and my brother are prepared for anything! By the way, do you really need that camera? It looks valuable..."
"Wowee! I'm on TV! Hi, dad!"
"Huh? I dunno anything about this, what're you guys playing at?"
"I DIDN'T DO IT!!"
"Ooh! Who did I see last...? Oh yeah! I saw Mime not too long ago! He was pretending to clean a window again!"
"Prepared? I mean, I always have a vault full of old military weapons... just in case..."
The following videos afterword started to get more unsettling, with Sniffles documenting everything that was happening. As each video progressed, the anteater became more and more distressed and hopeless. Sometimes, screams would be heard outside. Other times, there would be pounding on the door, along with someone loudly pleading to be let in. Sniffles did almost open the door once, but then, and every other time, he was too scared to. He would tell the camera that everything was ok in a scared voice, as the screams only got louder. The last video was only forty seconds long, but it proved to be the most disturbing nonetheless.
It was dark outside. Sniffles was running with the camera, accompanied by his frantic breathing and his cries for anyone could hear him. He sounded like he was crying, which was proven when a few frames showed tears streaming down his face. He was shouting:
"I saw it!"
"It's coming after me!!"
"Where the (censored) do I go!?"
"IS ANYONE STILL ALIVE?!!"
"ANYONE!! PLEASE!!"
"HELP ME!!"
"I DON'T WANNA DIE—GAHH!!"
Something dark suddenly struck from the shadows, knocking the camera out of the anteater's hand, before landing on the ground, facedown. There was a distant snapping noise, and Sniffles lets out a blood curdling scream as the camera's battery runs out.
