She's mine.
When the evening of Veronica's party came to pass, Mira lay in her bed watching snap stories of the event.
Did she regret not going?
A little. There was free alcohol and she was missing out on all the fun. She may not have liked Veronica, but she definitely liked to party.
She had't spoken to Veronica at all since their phone call and it didn't surprise her that Veronica hadn't made an attempt to speak to her either. Betty had called Mira to ask what had happened between them and Mira had told her everything. Surprisingly, Betty had believed her, despite the fact Veronica had been running around telling her immediate friends what a psycho Mira was. However, Mira made Betty keep things quiet. She didn't need more drama. She hadn't even told Hiram about what had happened, afraid of what he would do if he found out.
The one person Mira had personally reached out to was Cheryl who, when asked about Nick, denied even having heard of him. Mira guessed she didn't want to bring up past memories of what had occurred between them and she didn't blame her. She just wished someone would expose Nick.
Suddenly, she heard a honk outside her house. Curious, she peaked out her bedroom window and saw Reggie's pickup in her driveway.
"What the hell," she said before grabbing her phone off her bed and dialling his number. "What the hell are you doing outside my house?"
"Get ready, you're coming to the party," Betty said from the other end of the call.
"Betty?"
"Tony found out about what happened between Nick and Cheryl. Needless to say, she was pissed," Betty said. "She set up some plan to expose Nick and wants you to be there when it happens."
"Why me?"
"I kind of told her he tried to do it to you too," Betty admitted. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be, this is great. Give me fifteen, I'm coming," Mira said before hanging up. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" she screamed in happiness, throwing a dress and heels on. She didn't even care about her hair and makeup at this point, she was just so happy she practically sprinted out of the house and to Reggie's pickup. Where were her parents, some of you might be wondering? Conveniently as absent as ever.
