Life is sort of a game
A game chosen for us
With many different levels
Each difficult than the last
And everyone, regardless of their choice, plays
Plays, with the rule of the game of inevitable losing,
Some lose the game early than others
But accepting it,
Accepting it with a 'reason'
That not everyone gets this game called Life

We gain along the way
And we lose along the way
But we must keep going because
Not everyone gets this game called Life

But what if we don't want to play anymore
What if we're tired
But this a cruel game
With rules far worse
Careful, you must not complain because
Not everyone gets this game called Life

And then are those who have learned to enjoy it
They are falling in love with the game
But the game has other ideas
And throws the most difficult levels
Which somewhat crushes their spirit
But they fight back with equal force
Never giving up
Keeping a check on the scoreboard
As they believe they can overcome these levels because
Not everyone gets this game called Life

The game gets interesting
It is to be seen who wins
The player
Or the game itself
All wonder and wish
Is there no replay button?
Or cheat codes
Or can't we start the game all over again
Some fools even wish for a different genre of game
For they were stuck in sports game
When they were made for arcade
And they are players of
But can the rules be mended?
Do you get better in playing with time?
Can the game be changed altogether?
But what do we know,
Because,
Not everyone gets this game called Life
