from my complete the story book-
the wind whispered through the dark, empty trees like a warning in a foreign language. winter was coming and with winter came chaos, and with chaos came the reign of snow. olivia knew the reign of snow wasn't for the faint of heart. it wasn't what it seemed-- snowball fights, that's what it seems like, but it's not. the reign of snow was the government's annual domination of the economy, (as if the economy wasn't already crippled enough.) no one understood why the government did this, you didn't question the government. if you tried to go against the government the donald would stop you. you'd be sent to the corgis, a room full of corgis that you aren't allowed to play with. the donald made sure of this. the donald was the dictator of incantana. during the reign of snow the only source of news that wasn't government-controlled was the toasted telegraph available of course only on the black market, or better known to the government as white house black market. olivia and her friends started the resistance, they could be arrested and put to death without a trial if they were caught. but the donald was too oblivious to notice the resistance even existed, he could have done something, he could've had them arrested and tried for treason or sentence them to death.
