Surprise!!! (Part 2)

Skylar'sP.O.V~

I waited in the back yard, almost freaking out. The only thing I thought about was him and the surprise all day. I would be crushed if he didn't like it, but a part of me knew he already liked it from the beginning. I guess I didn't listen because of my nervousness.

I stood by the table fixing myself up a bit, but I stopped when I saw Cole he stood there looking at me. I could see his nervousness. And I bet he could see mine. It was always noticeable when I was nervous. That's why it's hard for me to lie sometimes.

he walked to were I was. I wanted to know what he was thinking. I wanted to know if he loved it or not.

"You did all this? For me?" He smiled while looking down at me. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I nodded my head. "Why? I feel guilty for not doing this for you." I only smiled.

I knew he would feel this way, and I don't blame him. He's always wanted to be the romantic one in this relationship.

"Don't feel guilty Cole, I did this because I love you. and I wanted to show you how much I love you. this is our night together and I wanted it to be special for you and me." I spoke from the heart. I never would have lied about this. I love him too much to break him. He smiled and leaned down to kiss me. Those same nots in my stomach came back and I only ever felt those feelings with Cole.

He pulled back and looked towards the table. He grabbed my hand and sat me down by pulling in my chair for me. Once he was settled in his own he started to eat. I looked at him for a second just thinking. Thinking about all the things we've been through. All the problems. All the sacrifices we made just to be together. And that's the thing. We did all this stuff and went through a lot for each other. Just so we could be together. Forever.

I began to eat also.

The night sky looked beautiful and it made things look more romantic. There were lights all around us making it shine. I had flowers in between us with the note on one of them.

"Cole?" He looked up.

"Yes Skylar?"

"I love you, and I mean it." It was the truth. I did mean it every time I said it to him. I will never stop. These feelings will never stop.

"I love you too Skylar." He smiled at me and grabbed my hand. Our intertwined fingers stayed that way for the night.
