Chapter 5

"And this will be your room!" Venom said, opening the door of the room next to Stitch's. The room had pale blue walls, a bunk bed with grey blankets, and a walk-in closet.

"Nice!" Zach said, walking into the room with Samuel. "Thanks, Venom!"

Venom grinned, showing off his hooked fangs. "You're welcome!" He said. "You two should probably start thinking about what your Specter names will be."

Samuel turned to Venom. "We have to change our names?" He asked emotionlessly.

Venom nodded. "We all did when we first became Specters," he said. "My name was previously Alexander, but I changed it to Venom after I stumbled across Grimm and Ivory and became the third Specter."

He began to close the door, but stopped halfway. "Oh, and you might want to get some sleep," He said. "You can tell us your new names in the morning, at breakfast." Then he closed the door and left.

Zach glanced at the bunk bed. "I call top bunk!" He shouted, scrambling up the latter.

Samuel shrugged. "Alright," He said emotionlessly. "I'll sleep on the bottom."

Zach crawled under the blankets and switched off his robotic eye. He closed his real eye and tried to fall asleep, but something was bothering him. What will the demons do if they find out we betrayed them? He wondered. They'll do more than tear off our arms and scratch up our eyes, that's for sure.

He sat up, he glanced down at Samuel, who had already fallen asleep. No, that won't happen. He thought. We're Specters now, the demons are the ones who should be scared.

He lay back down. What will my new name be? He wondered. Cyborg? No, that's already taken. Spark? No, I'm a robot, not Samuel. Wait... That's it!

He smiled to himself and closed his eye. It's the perfect name! He thought. It has a nice ring to it too....

Then he drifted off to sleep.

Zach woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. He sat up and saw the boy with the black mask open the door.

"H-Hey guys..." The boy stuttered. "J-Just wanted to let you know... That breakfast is ready...."

Zach jumped off the top bunk and grabbed his lab coat. Samuel sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "Okay, we'll be down in a minute." Samuel said. "Thanks, Piccolo." Then Piccolo closed the door and left.

Samuel stood up and grabbed his white shirt, he slipped it on then walked downstairs with Zach. They walked into the kitchen to find the rest of the Specters already seated and waiting for them. "Hi Zach, Samuel!" The red haired girl said. "Sleep well?"

Samuel nodded. "Very well, Burst." He said as he sat down next to Stitch and Zach. Breakfast was a huge plate of bacon and fried eggs. Zach began to wolf it down, Samuel wasn't as disgusting.

"So what're your new names going to be?" Venom asked, an amused grin on his face.

Samuel swallowed. "My name will be Voltage," He said. "Or Volt for short."

Zach smiled. "And I'm Digi." He said.
