Blood Thirst

James's POV

I finally asked her out but I can barely contain my thirst around her. I fell in love when I first saw her. I was on a "hunting" trip before school when some kids were picking on her. I knew I had to save her. I saw her face up close and it blew me away. I wasn't looking for love and I never trusted girls but when I saw her trusting blue eyes they melted my heart. She made the cage around my heart break. She has something special about her, I just don't know what it is. She smells like winter spice and her hair smells like strawberries. Her hands are so soft, just holding them makes me feel like I have a soul again. Wishing to hold her in my arms and to call her mine would be my dream so here's my chance.

"Raina will you go on a date with me?" I saw the shock on her face. How could she be shocked she must be asked out all the time. She's so beautiful.

"Of course James I'd love too." It's my turn to be shocked. I couldn't believe a girl that beautiful wants to go out with me? She's way to good for me.

It's the end of the day and I'm still clutching Raina's hand as we walk out of the school. People are still pointing and whispering but who gives two flying fucks. I never cared about what anybody thinks. I don't think Raina does either. We started walking towards where we met.

"We met here." she says as our arms swing back and forth. I smile at her. She looked so happy when she said that. We walked farther and she turned into a drive way.

"This is where I live." She kisses my cheek and goes into the house. Now I need to focus on something else. I need to hunt. I start running at lightning speed down the road when I see a drunk man coming out of a bar around the corner. I pounced on him and dragged him into the alley next to the bar. I pinned him to the ground and bit into him as hard as I could, draining him of all his blood I felt stronger. I didn't know I had to hunt that badly. Raina takes my focus off everything to where I only wanna pay attention to her. I think I'm falling for a normal girl.
