Picking And Choosing

Raina's POV

Ever since James has asked me to marry him I've been planning out wedding to happen as soon as we graduated. We've decided the colors will be red and black but all I needed is my dress. Graduation is 2 months away and I need bridesmaids dresses but that's for another day. I called Kay telling her to get ready to go shopping. A couple minutes later I hear my front door open.

"Hoe are you here?!"

"Yeah I'm in here." She walks in and grabs my hand.

"Ok tell you fiancé bye." I wave goodbye to James.

"And don't try looking for my dress, cause you're not aloud to see it until the wedding." I smile and blow him a kiss goodbye. Kay and I drive to a near by bridal shop. When the lady behind the desk who needs to cut down on the coffee comes up to us.

"Hi which one of you lovely ladies is the bride today?" Kay points to me.

"She is, she's getting married in about 2 months." The lady smiles

"Well we have a few selections for people of your type." The fuck!? What's my type?

"She leads me to the black selections and I see this beautiful one with a corset and ruffled at the bottom. It was long, black, and beautiful. I went and tried it on and it already fit me perfectly. The lady gave me a tiny black veil that only covers my face, with ruby earrings and a bracelet. I felt beautiful, I felt like I was worth something, I felt like a princess. I start smiling from ear to ear and Kay starts squealing.

"You look so beautiful!!" I smile and we hug. The dress already fit me perfectly, so I don't think I'll need alterations. I bought the dress and we left. When we got home I saw James asleep on the couch. I kiss his lips gently to wake him up. His green eyes flutter open and when he sees me they fill with love. He smiles and hugs me tightly. I love this boy so much.
