Raina's POV

Today is mine and James's graduation. It seems like just yesterday we met. It's been 4 months. I'm 17 but I'm graduating early and James is 18. I was putting my gown on talking to Kay, she's the only one who's been there for me this entire time.

"So how does it feel?" Kay asks out of the blue. What is she talking about?

"What are you talking about love?" I turn and look at her with confusion on my face.

"You know what I mean, just in month you're getting married to James." Just her bringing up his name brings a smile to my face.

"See you're even smiling like a big dork." She smiles, seeing her snake bites glimmer in the light.

"I can't help but smile Kay. I'm in love with this man, I'm gonna marrying the man I love and I want you there as my maid of honor." She looks at me surprised and hugs me.

"I'd be honored to be in your wedding, even though I was coming anyway." We both smile when I feel arms wrap around my waist and I see a pair of fangs smiling at me.

"James you're finally here!!" He smiles and hugs me.

"Of course I wouldn't missy own graduation." I look at him worried

"Isn't it sunny outside?" I look out and see that it's raining, so it'll all be held in the gym.

"Come on the ceremony is about to start." He grabs my hand and we go sit in the chairs. At the front of the gym there's a podium where the speeches will be made.

After sitting through all the speeches he starts calling the names alphabetically, until he finally gets to James's name. He lets go of my hand and walks up to the podium and whispers in the principal's ear. The principal nods and gives James the podium to give a speech.

"Fellow students, I know that I was just the weird new kid that nobody liked. Nobody gave me a chance, until I met my future wife. Raina Molisee." I started getting tears in my eyes as James keeps talking.

"My first day here I met my beautiful fiancé while she was walking to school. She was being bullied and I stepped in to protect her. I know it sounds cheesy, but we are gonna be high school sweethearts. After I first saw Raina I knew she was the one for me. I just wanted to take this time to tell her how much I love her." By this time I was crying and I ran up to hug him. We got a round of applause, and the principal gave me my diploma so James and I could leave. When we left that school, we left hand in hand, with Kay by our side of course and we swore to never look back on our past and just to look towards our future.
