𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 | 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙗𝙮

it's been 3 days since the news, and sam still just couldn't bring himself to come to terms with it. he couldn't imagine himself with a huge baby bump, and setting up a room dedicated to an actual, real life person that would be coming out of his own body.

but he could imagine himself in his best friend's arms. which is where he was right now.

they were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie on netflix that neither of them were really paying much attention to. colby's hands were slipped up under sam's shirt so they were resting securely over his stomach. sure sam was scared out of his mind about this pregnancy, but he couldn't help loving the fact the colby was being so protective over him.

it made him wish they could make things official. colby was someone that he could count on, someone that would always be there for him no matter what. at first, sam thought for sure colby was going to leave him to deal with this by himself, but he hasn't left his side since the very second they found out. 

this led to sam wondering what they were going to do about their friends and family. 

how do you tell your mother that you're pregnant with your best friends child? not to mention the fact that they were obviously both males.

colby felt tension from sam and pulled him closer, careful not to put any pressure on his stomach. 

"what are you thinking about, sammy?" colby said into the crook of sam neck, placing a small kiss there, making him shiver.

"what are we gonna tell the guys? and our parents?" sam then turned to face him. "colby your dad is going to kill you. he is so against anything homosexual." sam said, colby looked at him knowingly. 

"I think we should tell corey first, and then just our other close friends. we'll worry about parents later."

sam nodded into his chest, he felt like he needed to tell someone. maybe it would make him feel better that there is another person there for him.

a couple hours later after they both showered and ate, colby decided to invite corey over to sam's apartment. when he told him they needed to talk, corey said he'd be right over.

sam was on the couch editing when corey got there, thankfully he and colby film ahead of time, so they have plenty of videos to post until he was feeling more up to it. 

corey walked into the living room and sam put away his computer when colby sat at his side, grabbing his hand, gaining a confused look from corey.

"um, what's that about guys?" corey gestured to their intertwined fingers, then he caught on to the situation.

"ohhh my gosh are you guys coming out right now?" corey said, getting slightly excited. he knew this was going to happen. 

"well, yes but-"

"how long has this been going on now?" corey said with a smile.

"about 6 weeks, but that's not all, corey."

"well what's up then? why don't ya'll look happy?" corey questioned, confused by this whole conversation.

"sam... sam has this thing where he can.. like.. ugh, how do I say this.." colby said as he put a hand to his temple. "sam is capable of carrying... children." he finished cautiously. 

corey just sat there waiting for further explanation until the realization washed over his face and his demeanor went from happy to serious within seconds.

"so-so sam's..he's..?"

they both nod looking down, feeling ashamed of themselves.

"this is absolutely amazing! do you know how fun this is going to be? and how good this is going to be for your channel? you guys, this is great news!!" corey exclaimed, making sam jump at his excitement. "I'M HAVING A GRAND BABY!!"

a small smile reached sam's face as he thought about it more. maybe corey was right, maybe it's not as bad as he thought. maybe this might actually be something positive in his and colby's lives. 

when colby saw the smile on sam's face, he almost broke down right there. this was the first time sam had smiled about the situation and it made his heart skip a beat. all this just seemed so much more exciting now. 

corey brought them both in for a hug, but still being careful of sam's stomach.

"oh and you guys can start a family channel now!" corey said cheerfully, making the two boys giggle at how excited he was.

 "I don't know about all that, you're the only person we've told so far," colby laughed, but corey looked at him with bug eyes.

"aweee really?!?"

"of course, corey. why wouldn't we?" sam said as he gave him another hug.

a little later, corey left to go out to eat with devyn, and sam and colby decided it was okay for him to tell her about the pregnancy, as long as no one else found out.

sam walked into his room- well, his and colby's room at this point, seeing as he basically lived there with sam now. he walked up to his mirror, lifting up his shirt. there was no sign of a baby yet, but to be honest he didn't know exactly why he was looking, he knew he wouldn't start showing for at least 6 or 7 more weeks. it was just the thought of raising a kid was mind boggling to him.

although sam was looking at the brighter side of things a little more, he couldn't help but still feel that pit in his stomach every second he thought about it.
