I noticed Bailey leave the house, and I just lay in my bed trying to find sleep.

Alyssa?
Yeah Dakota?
Can we go for a run.
That might help control my thoughts.

So can we!
Yeah, we just need to avoid any people on patrol.

Can we go now then!

I laugh at the excitement then grab a change of clothes and jump out the window above my bed leaving it open for me.
I drop the spare clothes near the building. I was surprised that right behind the place Bailey was staying at was the forest and a bit more when I noticed the short distance to the ground, but I can't complain that much and seeing as she's also a werewolf it's understandable.
Sprinting off into the forest, I jumped and shifted through the air landing with a soft thud. My white fur glistening in the moon light, I could feel Dakota relax at being in nature again and the stress leave my mind for the time being.

I spotted a river in the distance and trotted over to it.

I sense another wolf.
What! Is it a rogue!?
No, but it's from a pack and I can feel power coming from it.

I looked around because of Kode's warning, but I didn't pick up anything which concerned me and I'm a pure white wolf so I can't really camouflage or hide. My fur stood on end and I raised my hackles just in case this wolf meant harm and attacked me.

A light brown wolf appeared at my side in an attempt to play, but I didn't notice it meant no harm and just pinned this wolf and bared my teeth at it. As I did the wolf let out a whimper and submitted to me, and I saw it as a good enough response and moved away as quickly as I had pounced.

That hurt Aly.

'Bailey?' How was I hearing her.
Yes, and that hurt. I looked around and I could only guess that the wolf before me was Bailey.
Sorry, I didn't know it was you and I am kind of a rogue.
Oh! I know!

Well I am kind of the back up Alpha / Luna thingy if something ever happens to my brother.

Don't know but I'm higher than Beta and not an actual ranking Alpha/Luna.

A boring and short chapter I know, but I'm planning on adding some blood for the next chapter whenever that's out + IT'S NEARLY END OF TERM ONE! CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!!! Also we should have a month break because of Covid 19 instead of 2 weeks + I missed today.
