c h a p t e r 10

'He's our mate!'
'I know, he's kind of in front of us.'
'We have our mate! Mate! Mate!'
'I know!' I laughed at Kode's actions,

I was pulled back into the present when I felt sparks on my chin and I was looking into the most beautiful eyes I could ever imagine; one was ocean blue and the other was forest green, I subconsciously parted my lips while I starred at the man and my mate before me, how was I blessed with such a god as my other half.

"Alyssa!" I could hear my name being called by someone but I couldn't care who it was, because I was lost in my mate's eyes.
"Aly, there you ar-." I was snapped out of my daze when Bailey's voice reached my ears and recognition hit me.
"So your name is Aly, my beautiful mate." He tilted my chin so I was looking into his eyes again, how I could get lost in his eyes.
Bailey walked forward and quickly pulled me out of my mate's grasp and forced me to join her in a sprint.
"I got to borrow Aly quickly!" Bailey let out a nervous laugh as she kept us running, and moving further away from my mate I knew he wasn't followed because his scent was becoming faint.

Shitty chapter I know but I haven't had many ideas for this book (I have other ideas that I was cultivating instead for other books), so if chapters are short and or shitty, not my fault completely + I thought I needed to post one since I think it's been  over a month. I will post when I have a chapter done but as of currently and still it's on hold, but I might start posting a new story and it's going to be part of a series, I don't know really but I wanted to put something up.
